Since Roads to Power came out, the most fun game I've played yet was as a landless Viking explorer; I made it a point to visit every single POI on the map from west to east, ending up in Burma, where I married a little intelligent/pretty princess after making best friends with her father.

No, You're starting an entirely new game essentially. Though if i recall correctly there is an ambition that has you take one of you previous sims as the monarch of the new kingdom.

Hey man! Not sure how I came across your channel. (Probably because I’ve been hooked on dominion for about a year now) I just thought id share my opinion with you just in case you care. I think dominion plays best when it’s 1v1 and this game was a good example of why. Just think about how different the play would be if for every cutpurse that was played on you, you had the opportunity to respond by playing one. Instead you had turns where 3, sometimes 4, were played on you for every one you played on them. Also with less opponents it gives you more time to buy cards and build your deck so your turns can be more impactful and piles don’t run out so fast. I feel like it really smooths out and balances the game play. But don’t let me tell you what to do. If that is the way you like to play, then play on my friend!

That's a fair point, I just usually find more players for a "board game" to be more fun and slightly more random. But against the AI it could be a very different experience than in person so might be more enjoyable. I might give 1v1 a try in the future.

EU3 is essentially my comfort game, after I'd burn myself out playing something else too much EU3 was kind of like a palate cleanser. Also since I started playing it on my channel it's pretty much been my most viewed game.

I'm not sure why he is displayed with a shield, but yeah so far it's fairly easy to make a really powerful warband as a landless adventurer, with proper investment you can have far more retinue units than a landed ruler in the early years.

I couldn't really get into EU4 as the interface is so very different so I've only spent a few hours playing several years ago. So I really can't say it's better it's just better for me.

Have you messed with the difficulty before starting a game? also some nations are just easier. I played Ryuku for all of 5 minutes before Japan just randomly attacked and destroyed me.

I am somewhat ahead in the mission, a similar team, just completed the Varnhold quest. Playing in easy mode, rarely using Turn Base Mode. Not enjoying things like DOS 1 & 2 and POE 1 & 2 mainly due to too many Scrolls. Kingdom Management - switched from Normal to Auto as this is extremely boring. Mainly learning the mechanism of Pathfinder, later on will play the Second Game in Normal/Hard Mode. Regards AM Kolkata, INDIA

So changes to my playstyle won't show up until about episode 18 on this playthrough. I don't usually use it because I'm really just trying to look at my realm and that of my vassals/allies and who I'm at war with. Sometimes the country colors are so close that I'll mistake my territory for someone else's and vice versa.

The beginning reminded me of my 1st ever playing a video game. It took me 2 days to get out of the cave because Lin kept telling me to put on my helmut. I didn't know how to find the helmut. Thanks for the memories.
