Thank you! Yes, I prefer metal combs because they are better quality. The plastic ones are good but I find that they break easily over time

Hi wonderful video. But i have trouble cutting a cake with icing sheet. As the icing sheet doesnt cut along with cake instead it gathers or wrinkles at the bottom. It cannot be cut . Is there a tip or advise on how to cut the cake with icning sheet smoothly without the edible sheet wrinkling or gathering under the knife??? Please advise...
@CakeQueenTanya25 күн бұрын
@@143mariyam thank you! I would suggest “scoring” the sheet with your knife before cutting the slice. Sometimes the icing sheet can be thick so I know exactly what you mean. But if you can use the knife to pre-cut the icing sheet then it will produce a cleaner cake slice. Hope this helps!

Good afternoon please what did you apply with brush on the cake before wrapping the paper design.
@CakeQueenTanyaАй бұрын
I use piping gel mixed with a very small amount of water. This makes it easy to spread on the cake with the brush

How do you bake a square cake that big?
@CakeQueenTanyaАй бұрын
I used 7” square pans and used multiple cake layers to get it to the height I wanted. Similar to this kzbin.info/www/bejne/b6fGh6KKe9lrq5Isi=KV-Bzf5q7GKHoYRf

How thick should the buttercream be under the fondant
@CakeQueenTanya29 күн бұрын
I would say a 1/4 to 1/2 of an inch thick. I personally don’t like too much buttercream under my fondant
