They are charging for a year almost the same as other well known apps for life. With basically no feature besides those 4 filters. It’s laughable at least. Just because other apps are full of options doesn’t mean it’s necessary to use them all. But if at some time you want a different shutter speed or iso, they will deliver. And btw, default camera app, proraw photo is around 60mb. That’s a lot of data, no those pesky kb of this funny app.
@WalidAzamiTV7 күн бұрын
In fairness to a new app, every popular app had to start somewhere. I've been approached by many brands and this is one that seemed promising. I love the idea of choice and opinions. If this isn't something that interests you - then you should use what makes you happy. There's no one product that will impress everyone, all of the time. I do hope the file size does increase though.
@estwern7 күн бұрын
@@WalidAzamiTV Because it is a new app it needs to be tried by many people. 5 photos per day is nothing. it doesn't create the need to go into the app when you are so limited, to create ahabbit. also 4 presets is a joke (considering the fifth one to be 'normal'). how it is different from native app? only from those so called tweaked presets? fewer buttons to push? it's crazy if people think that they will have succes with this kind of approach. If the company is one person who makes it as a side hustle to get some money from weak public, that's another story.....

Totally agree with you and this video, let’s face it there are creepy guys with cameras out there that makes it difficult to work with some models. When I get to shoot with them I do my best to create that positive experience and make them feel at ease, it’s a proven fact where I’ve had some models stand before my camera 20-30 times and one of them has done so 44 times. We have to understand that what we do as photographers is a job and the client/model needs to be treated as such and at the end of the day we can walk away with great photos for both of our portfolios

@OgThugLuvАй бұрын
I shoot baseball games at different locations in Southern California. Each game lasts about an hour and a half. Only done 7 games, I offer roughly 150 photos from 1500 taken. (I need trigger control, I know working on it). For now, as I begin ,I’ve charged $100 per game and thinking of charging $2 per digital download. Any feedback? I should include my fuel cost well.

A) STOP offering so much, please B) Keep the "entry fee" lower but still raise it about 20%. Small amounts do add up, but it also helps your client. $100 is a tank of gas these days. It's the new $10 bill. C) I would consider a tiered pricing method so the ones who order a lot will be rewarded. Range from $1 to $3 per, but structure it based on quantity. D) If you want to have a full plan, look into my S.T.E.P. Pricing Course cause you'll need structure go.photographybusinesscourse.com/STEPpricing Ps... if you're seeing this on July 26/27 then check my IG stories or latest post. I have a promo code for those two days.

So I have been at a crossroads a lot with my photography. Am I the photographer that does individual clients designing beautiful looks for my clients (what I do now) or go more into the commercial space with fashion. I believe I have my pricing the way it needs to be for individual clients, but I am not so sure with commercial work. I have done many “collabs” and I believe we all have gotten what we need from them. The more I watch your channel and others I wont mention, everyone is on a different path. Do you photograph everyday people or just models?
@WalidAzamiTVАй бұрын
I understand that you're on a voyage that could be confusing. I get that, and that's why I have this channel. I'll try to address all of the points... 1) I'm glad that you see you've reached your "collab" quota and you don't need anymore. Keep doing tests though! And test with a purpose. 2) Your pricing will always shift for the rest of your career. I try to help people find their box, the area they feel great about. But Mary won't pay $1000 but Tariq will for example. You stay with your limit that makes you happy. The right ones will come if you position yourself correctly. 3) I'm glad you didn't mention who the others are so that I can transparently give my thoughts on this. Maybe you'll disagree with my methods or agree. The same with these other channels. My question is: See for yourself whose career you admire the most. Google everyone. Make sure you know what's real and what's made up for social media clout. Perhaps you will not appreciate my career, and in that case I'd suggest you learn from the people you wish to emulate. That's what I always tell people. KZbin channel hopping can waste time. It's better to learn from one source who you admire. This is the straightest path to success if you want to only learn from youtube videos. Hope that makes sense.
@WalidAzamiTVАй бұрын
Also the STEP Course would help you with your commercial photography endeavor. That's a different beast so you want to be ready for it. FINALLY ... give yourself grace. Knowing that you might be little frustrated means you recognize there is an issue. And now we solve that issue!
