Great light! Thanks for the review. I really like how thin this 18650 light is, only 24mm. My other favorite 18650 throwers are wider and more difficult to pocket carry. I may even convert this to an 18350. I prefer this light in tactical mode. I can come in moonlight, turbo or strobe with medium also available. Turbo and strobe are bright enough for self defense. Just perfect.

I had great difficulty in changing the blade for my original prybrid. I nearly cut myself. Maybe it loosens over time or the spring tension varies in tolerance from the factory, since others say theirs changes blades easily. I just ordered the new blue model with the clip.

I purchased the True Utility NailClip Kit tool and quickly discovered it was basically worthless. The clippers were incredibly dull and wouldn’t even cut paper or thread. While the metal quality seems good, the overall functionality of the tool is very poor. I don’t recommend tools from True Utility.

I still have a review on what I thought might have been the only decent true utility product, the tweezers, and the even made that worthless.

Doing a flashlight review but no demonstration in the dark? Come on now
@Survival-gyver8 күн бұрын
@damson2809 lmao. This has been discussed. Sure let's get night/dark views with an auto focusing camera. What you see in the video will not be anything close to actual light output in the dark. It's going to make the flashlight look much brighter than it actually is. Did you know a 2500 lumen flashlight will look about the same as any other 2500 lumen flashlight with the same optics, meaning lens and reflector type?

Just picked one up today. Went to BPS to get a couple pairs of Tac pants. However, I generally use a rather practical or seemingly innocent errand as an excuse to pick up something cool for myself. Just started it charging from a wall outlet so it will be interesting to see how long it takes. I also had some difficulty getting the rubber insert out of the charging port so I was glad to learn that I’m not alone in that. Thx for the review and happy holidays. 😢

You're the only one on KZbin who has mentioned that the GSI pot lid, as shown on the box illustration, can be flipped upside down and secured onto the plastic bowl to create a sippy cup for hot beverages. The smaller raised section on the lid matches the bowl's internal diameter, allowing it to snap into place, while the small hole opposite the pour spout lets air in as you sip. The only reason yours didn’t fit perfectly is likely due to poor factory QA, but this is exactly how the lid is designed to be used.
@Survival-gyver16 күн бұрын
Well i try to be as thorough as possible, but even I forget points of interest sometimes, or I discover them while doing the video. Thank you for the clarification, and thank you for watching.

I recently purchased this charger to be able to charge 18650, rcr123 batteries recently purchased from nitecore. I didn't have the issue with battery needing to be cocked slightly to wake up the charger by did notice the charger would rate some older and even new batteries as"Poor" due to high internal resistance. The solution I found is to remove any film or oxidation from the battery terminals with a pencil eraser. Perhaps this is contributing to your problem.
@Survival-gyver19 күн бұрын
I'll have to try that, thanks you.

I got the TD02 a few weeks ago. Love the beam profile, light output, size and build quality. I got the matte green version and it’s a good looking light. I did not care for the UI at all. Unfortunately it’s going to end up being a kitchen drawer light. I went back and bought the TD03 the UI is so much better. I really like the TD03 it’s more of a thrower than the 02 but I was ok with that, I kind of needed a thrower.

Just saying, but if the will is there, a person can delete another with their bare hands. It's gonna take nearly 10 minutes, and you gotta hold on real tight, especially when the body system panics at the lack of oxygen. And then minutes is wasaaaaasayyyyy longer than most people have any idea. But yeah, I'm sure this knife can be used to take that time down to right around a minute or so. Gotta make the most with the time we have ya know?

They dont fully charge batteries for shipping as they have no idea how long the product will be on the shelf……leaving a battery fully charged is bad for the battery So they only charge them to storage voltage which is usually 3.8v compared to fully charged 4.2v This just extends the life of the battery
