You can’t excuse death threats and blame it on a KZbinr because he voiced his opinion the whole point of the first amendment which was one of the biggest when the us was founded was so people could freely dispute what would be best for our country, so the fact that people are getting mad at influencers for discussing their political opinions and going as far as death threats should not be excused because we should “expect it”

@@stay_rusty122 The first amendment made it possible for people to voice their opinion without facing repercussions from the government, not the people. I never “excused” the death threats, but I did admit the fact that he couldn’t have avoided the situation completely. Another point that was never brought up but should also be considered. He’s a kids channel, meaning that he mainly has influence over impressionable youths. There’s a reason most teachers are not allowed to share their political opinions. Not saying he’s a teacher but, the responsibility of being a highly influential kids channel should be there. The majority of hate comment were probably from angry parents wishing their young children not be indoctrinated by their favorite family friendly KZbinr.
