I've never actually watched anything more of SVTFOE than clips. However, I've heard that the finale very much sucked. That being said, the other three shows I've watched the entirety of several times. And I must say, Amphibia is my favorite of the three. I know, I know, most of you reading this comment are probably all like, "WHAT??? HOW CAN YOU LIKE AMPHIBIA MORE THAN GRAVITY FALLS??" And you make a valid point. Gravity Falls is probably the best of the three. And definitely did the best among fans and viewers if nothing else. Amphibia just has such a special place in my heart. I was 13 when I watched it, the same as Anne, Sasha, and Marcy. And the themes really hit home for me. Like Anne, learning to let go of the people you care about, and knowing you might see them again in the future, was a big one for me. And like Marcy, learning to sometimes step out of your fantasy world and embrace change was another big one. Also like Marcy, I have autism which tends to make me just want to stay in my own little bubble of fantasy shows and book series. I have things in common with Sasha too, but they are more personal and would be spoilers for those who have not read Marcy's Journal. But that aside, GF is a close second for me after Amphibia. TOH is third, but I still love it. But those are just my views and I respect opinions that are different!

Well, in all actuality, light sabers are shit weapons. They do not cause bleeding because they immediately burn the wound so unless you hit something like a vital organ that your body absolutely needs your typically gonna be fine cause you won’t bleed out so you need to get them in the lungs the heart or something other than those organs that will cause immediate death or quick death because if you get hit in the intestines, holy shit I just got stabbed in the intestines but also I’m not gonna bleed out and the intestines only digest food so I don’t need them to breathe or pump blood through my body

I would think placement matters. Qui gon got stabbed in the chest. Indara got stabbed in the chest. I believe solo got it in the chest as well (i could be wrong here, i gotta go back and rewatch that part to be sure). Reva got it in the stomach area. Same with sabine in ahsoka. Definitely survivable, especially since light sabors cauterize the wound.

It's going to turn out that this scene was like the Jedi that willingly took poison. She allowed herself to be killed once civilians were safe, so her assassin would leave. She knew who she was and why she was there.

one of those characters was stabbed twice, once as a child and once as an adult, also after getting stabbed with the lightsaber she had to travel halfway across the galaxy to Tatooine way into the outer rim, just to kidnap a kid... all without medical attention. I'm going to look at any star wars thing made under Disney this way from now on, if someone gets stabbed in upper body with a lightsaber and doesn't die, then the story isn't canon, pretty sure that eliminates most of Disney star wars from canon.

Not saying you're wrong, but I imagine they made this choice very specifically because people were bitching that lightsabers aren't killing and people aren't dying. Like, they looked at these complaints and said "okay, we need to kill someone on screen, and they need to just get stabbed in the chest and die." It being a knife instead of a lightsaber just kind of got looked over.

Yo can you pin this so the people yapping about sabers cauterizing the wounds realize thats not all that happens? In episode 1, Qui Gon shows how the saber can melt 3 layers of BLAST DOORS (things designed to protect from gigantic explosions), so imagine how hot it must be, then take that and stab someone with it. Yeah, their insides are melting within seconds.
