Bugout feels too cheap people care about the flex in the handle not because it’s an issue but because it make it feel cheap. The 940 is far superior

I used the Papermate Profile for several years until I tried the G2 and it was night and day- Much sharper and consistent in every way. I have never gone back.

I have this same watch, automatic version, with the stock bracelet. May look dated, but I'd never consider another bracelet-- I think it is part of what makes the watch so cool. And agree, bezel not easy to turn. But I don't use it anyway so it doesn't matter to me. The lume on the indices is almost completely gone, but the hands all shine bright still.

Carbone was the first metal they used, not stainless. Carbone you can only get with the beach wood handle

Tell me you have no technical skills and can't tinker whatsoever. Ive seen this on a paraframe before. Unsure what happened but the pivot is too tight. One quarter turn looser and the lock will fully engage every time and blade will slip much smoother. Something happens when these are unused that can cause them to bind up some. C'mon you have to adjust the pivot tension on $200 knives, why would a $10 knife never need any adjustment

After I tried Pineapple Mini with Nichia 519a, there is no way I would return to Microstream. I have a Pineapple Mini aluminum that costs the same as the Microstream, only that the Pineapple Mini has many more options and a high CRI. The quality of light emitted by the Pineapple Mini is far superior to the Streamlight

Very interesting video to me. because chaparral is the most biggest folder to regally allowed to carry in my country - Korea(south). our law allowed us can carry folding knives that has "edge length less than 6cm(2.36")" not blade length. so chaparral and ambitious are treated same. now I have just got a dragonfly and consider to buy chaparral. thanks for your video.

I know this an older video, but I added a copper scale to my Brouwer and like the knife so much more. I’m kinda bothered by the g-10/micarta, or whatever else material on one side too. The copper suits it well and balances out the weight nicely.

I look at the Original full size Smith&Wesson SWAT (circa 1995) the same way. It was the first expensive, tactical style (not a Swiss Army Knife), pocket knife my Dad ever bought me. Unfortunately a "friend" of mine stole it years ago. Since then I have become a Kershaw guy, and have been searching for a 2420st for YEARS. Just snagged a 2420ST! Full size version of this knife. I manage a pawnshop and I found one in a jacket pocket! It is in mint cond as well.

Crepe soles wear out much faster and they get real dirty real quick. I prefer the harder soles on the shacre li. Honestly I prefer the shacre li in general. More comfortable too and the river some makes it more durable

He shouldn’t be such a little fan boy and actually judge those knives. What do you expect he’s a KZbin tuber he don’t know what work really is. His story would change if he broke a bug out and cut the hell out of himself. Or his story would change if he hast to buy two bugouts. Because he knows he’s going to break one

I prefer the g10 manix 2 in hand over the lightweight. I had a decision to make, manix 2 lightweight salt vs pm2 salt. I went with the pm2 because I like the g10 manix and pm2 over the lightweight manix which feels a little unbalanced to me.

Great watch! I reckon a jubilee-style or oyster-style bracelet from Uncle S or Forstner would really put this over the top - more solid while giving a classic Datejust look.

I personally want a back lock that requires extra pressure to disengage....... Beats having the blade unlock during use.

When they layer the steels it’s called a laminate. Spyderco did this with hap40/sus410 for a while. Typically they take a non stainless and laminate it with a stainless steel. There may be other reasons but that is one of the main ones I am aware of
