Basically the GBA soundchip is just a better GB(C)'s soundchip, and I really love it. Imagine if at least GBA actually had his own dedicated CPU or chip for sound so his games wouldn't have to worry about their game's music taking too much of the space for their CPU run it properly! Literally, almost no game suffered on making GBA music not lag on GBA while the game runs, but Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis managed to do that in a way that is actually not pleasant, literally 90% of the reasons for the game running slow is because of the sounds playing in, and Sonic Advance trilogy just managed to run actual good GBA music without the game lagging too much for the sake of better sound performance!

idk I never tried. maybe there are hardware spc players which support mute/solo channels but I never really looked into it. this video was recorded via spcplay

sadly, I don't think there's a convenient way to do this. I manually removed every channel except the one I wanted to export, did this for every channel and then rendered the osc from those
