I am so happy to have come across these Choral Evensongs and Services! They have brought great joy to my life. I hope that you all have a great summer break. Since some month I follow and listen to the magnificant choir and it brings me much emotion because their perfect voices represent their attitude for being the best! (despite my lack of being a real christian since 50 years) Impressive! I will follow and like to visit an Evensong when I visit your Chapel when I am in your country!

The high B, which is held throughout the entire piece (often provided by wedging the key down with a pencil or a weight but, in this case, played by the senior organ scholar) represents the star which guided the Magi.

Not at all. Because Christmas Eve falls on a Sunday this year, our church held it's first advent service on November 26th. We have an advent wreath that has 4 different candles that get lit follow by a Christ candle on Christmas Eve. We had to add an extra week to advent to make the dates fall into place correctly.
