You have aged the composer considerably. In the title information it states that Iain Farrington was born in 1935. If Wikipedia is to be believed, Mr. Farrington was born in 1977.

Perhaps I am completely mistaken in this, but it does seem like the number of new tenors and basses this term is greater this year than in previous Michaelmas terms. In theory one would expect three or four male singers to leave the choir due to graduation and three or four new singers to join the choir each fall. However, this year it seems like the lineup of the back benchers is almost all new. Any insights you are able to share would be greatly appreciated.

If nothing else, you're on the Tallis Scholar's home turf. Imagine singing in that same chapel where that titanic Spem in Alium was recorded. How Peter managed to fit a single file of 40 singers in that space is a separate conversation
