I think d-16's transition to Megatron was all there, but a lot of it was in very subtle details that you'd have to be paying very close attention to notice, like how quick he is to suggest violence, even as a joke.
@samharrison973414 күн бұрын
@@alexjewett7455 like that is fair, I did notice a few moments where it is subtly shown and some that are more present in the film, its probably more of just wanting a little more ease into his transition as I felt it was just that little bit too quick in some regards near the end but its not a case that the sudden change affected the film heavily, just needed that extra few minutes added
@karnisingh689317 күн бұрын
Transformers one was a really great movie but the only problem I felt was it should have been a little longer, since the character change of Megatron was a little rushed, his anger was reasonable but they should have added more scenes showcasing his rage and the change of heart he had
@samharrison973417 күн бұрын
@@karnisingh6893 That is exactly what I was thinking myself. Like I see that there was bits of him turning to the dark side in the film in about 2 or 3 points that are mentioned and brushed past and then suddenly he goes evil, the 2 fight for a brief bit and then leave when I feel it needs a little bit more of his power control before Optimus returns and they fight a little more. Hopefully there is a little more from a possible sequel but it's still a great film

@karnisingh6893 Yeah I am sure it will build to them having a more battle of the 2 that will be more deep connection in a 2nd film to really flesh out his villain arc and how their development of the first continued on and then the 3rd they bring in unicron and they have to team up to stop its total destruction. This movie was big time overrated, no need for it to last as long as it did. Sex scenes for no reason.
@samharrison97343 ай бұрын
Totally understandable and its a case that not everyone was going to enjoy the film. Will agree that it goes on a little bit overly long and could've been reduced a little and then I am not sure if the sex scenes were implied in the book its based from but I get it for sure. But appreciate your perspective and opinion on the film all the same

I'm really sorry to say this but I absolutely hated this movie. Greta Gerwig's deliberate refusal to show equality in a fictional imaginary Barbie Land made me mad as hell. This is not real life, it's just a movie, and yet the Barbies and Kens can't even be shown as equals at the end is irritating. Ken has an antagonist in Barbie Land, but Barbie does not. We are never shown how an idiot like Ken takes over Barbie Land, but we are only shown how the Barbies regain control. The Kens fight each other, but the Barbies do not. They mention "Patriarchy" several times, but never "Matriarchy". Are you seeing a pattern here? I have no problem with a film that pokes fun at men and blame the patriarchy, but it should never be called Barbie then. People have preconceived notions regarding a Barbie movie and this movie honestly never felt like a Barbie movie. Some have cited films such as Legally Blonde, Clueless, and Life-Size, as more representative of a true Barbie movie. Their lead protagonists never had to apologize for their exterior being, in fact, they embraced their femininity and impeccable fashion sense, to help change peoples judgmental opinions of them and help make the world a better, brighter you. Margot Robbie's Barbie doesn't have a clue what she wants and is only interested in her needs and not those around her. She abandons Ken and her own people without a second thought. Revokes individuality in favor of conformity. Ironic that Mattel didn't make a doll of Barbie in Birkenstock sandals and only made the ones that resembled the REAL Barbie.

I completely understand what you mean and I appreciate you sharing your own thoughts on the film itself. I fully get that as not every film will appeal to everyone and people will get their own issues and problems with said medium and looking over it I completely understand in what you mean as they seem to really gloss over the likes of some of those issues and topics like Ken taking over Barbieland and Patriarchy and all other concepts so I fully get that. I am sure it could be a case that a lot more of this concept could've been explored or was more of the basis that they want to have this simple film of the fun land of Barbie, goes to the real world and then returns when things seem a mess but never delve too deep into the deeper themes. I am sure if given free reign (and maybe there was possible studio interference which Warner Bros is known for) they may have tapped into those concepts more but maybe they can work it into another form of follow up or series or something or another take from another director but I guess we will see how that turns out. Either way I still appreciate the response of your thoughts on the film and provide some valid points on your perspective to it all and hope you have a great day all the same :)
@WolfgangAmadeus-pj9nc3 ай бұрын
@@samharrison9734 Thank you. I would also like to add that our protagonist, Barbie, is indecisive, which is not a good quality for young girls to emulate. When Sasha asks Will Ferrell, as Mattel CEO, what Barbie's ending is, he says "Well, that's easy. She's in love with Ken." But Barbie says she's not in love with Ken. Groaning in frustration Will asks "What do you want?" Barbie stupidly says "I don't know." She doesn't know what she wants but for some odd reason she knows she doesn't love Ken, then magically out of nowhere she wants to become human. The film may have ended with her going to the gyno but that doesn't guarantee she won't change her mind again. And who do you think is paying for all that? Ruth Handler tells Barbie that she named her after her daughter Barbara. But most people are unaware that Ken was named after Ruth's very own son Kenneth, but Greta Gerwig chose not to disclose this vital info. Making the Kens jobless and homeless, despite the fact that Ken has had myriad careers throughout the decades. Some may think Ken is superfluous or just an accessory, but if he were irrelevant as Alan, then he would have been discontinued a long time ago. Hope you have a great day also.

I think Godawful is closer to the truth. I thought is was painful throughout. I give it 4 out of 10 for the visuals alone. The only movie I like in the whole DCU is Gunn's Suicide Squad.. there are others that are good in parts like Wonder Woman and Superman Returns (yes, that one). We know Momoa can act but in this he's stiff as a board and still the others are more rigid than he is.. and don't get me started on the story because it's too infantile even for The A-Team.
@samharrison97348 ай бұрын
That is totally fair and understandable, your opinion matters for the film as well as everyone else that some may like it and some don't like it and that's totally cool. I see a lot of horror games and movies... And some of the horror movies are bad because of something small that could make better sense and they have to make it as a thing that has to happen to primarely save the lead character... and if that thing would happen to a non important character he/she would be dead.... And for me that spoils the entire movie... In games I don't notice that, because in a horror game the player controls if the character dies or not, and the things happens a bit better than in the movies

You should get daylight LED bulbs for your room, it'll cut down the harshness of that light a lot. Also, your audio isn't synced very well, several points in this video your mouth was moving counter to what you were saying. You could also add a very low background music rather than the more jarring, sudden effects you've chosen. Good effort though, keep it up.

I appreciate some of the things to fix for some help. I need to better fix the scheduling as I was working that day of filming and only got to film it in the evening. Most I can try is another room setting or fix the lights in that room (they can dim so will need to find that fair balance). I do see this myself with some audio points and I do try to sync it or fix before upload. Some bits do appear now and again after or may have missed and try to work on them when I can. Will look for some decent music for background noise (if you have suggestions I would appreciate) I try and find clips that relate in some way to what has come out or use them for some jokes or promo clips. I appreciate the support and thank you for the feedback.

Absolutely sick of Musk and his ablism and homophobia, using his money to make a playground out of science and technology. As an autistic person, the whole 'brain chip' thing so offensive and worrying. Meta, while better in some ways, are almost just as bad especially with data protection. I don't see threads taking off in the EU because of this and our strong data protection laws. What really gets me is the carbon footprint off all these new apps and AIs! It's easy to forget that data has to be stored somewhere and is taking up so much energy and causing lots of pollution 🙄 Anyways, that's my rant over! Great video, as always! I didn't know about the Naria Netflix series, that could be fun! The movies have a lot of charm to them, and I imagine that it would hard not to compare them! Yeah I can agree as his whole promise of buying it was to help with a bot problem but it just seems to be the case now that it has made it much more worse on that site and become much more restrictive, is not very helpful and is a complete and utter dumpster fire (and I agree I don't know how he is not seeing this Brain Chip as an easy excuse of mind control and possible possession if someone was to hack into a brain chip). I can agree with the likes of the META being really bad with Data protection and was the messy reason for 2 bad things in 2016. It will have to be seen how popular it gets and a demand in Europe (given there has been 100 million downloads since launch last week) but it begs to be seen how that turns out and if it becomes available here (and yeah most of these tech giants don't see them harming the planet as a bad things as long as they are paid the big monies) I appreciate the support and I am sure that Netflix will do a big budget for the entire series and I am sure that if the 2 Greta makes are great I am sure they will try for more from her or even some other big names that could provide some fantasical and wonderous approach to them
