Quite the undertaking. It all seems very daunting, very time-consuming. But they look beautiful nonetheless. Continued success.

How are you making the organ play itself? Is it record and paly back?? Are you programming the selections? How?

Based solely on what we're told in the video, I was able to compile this stoplist. Great: • open diapason • pedal diapason (used as a second open) • Melodia • dulciana 8' • flute d'amour 4' • trumpet • oboe • vox humana Swell: • diapason 16' 8' 4' • stopped diapason • salicional 8' • voix céleste 8' • Plein Jeu Echo: • flute 16' 8' 4' 2' • viola 8' 4' 2'

So many questions but...is there a wife to contend with here?..😆 Truly, a project like this would be amazing to pursue. However, I'm pretty sure trying to accommodate it in my domestic home bonus room would lead to more frustration than i am willing to put up with. I commend your ingenuity and perseverance!!

I'm personally planning to get my father's old 3 rank direct electric unit instrument back eventually and expanding it to 14 ranks. Most of those are units, but some of them are limited to only one manual unless coupled and even some portions of stops in the swell that aren't duplexed are going to be enclosed. All of this is planned to be in the basement of a new house (7' Ceiling assumed - half of 1,100 to 1,600 sq foot of home basement allocated to the project). At one point I had multiple full length resonator reeds planned, but with limited space and already three 16 ft full length stops to budget space for, it was impractical to expect to add a 16' and 8' unified Posuane, 8' and 4' unified French Trumpet, 8' French Krummhorn and possibly an 8' Oboe. Therefore the Regal length Sordun, Regal and Schalmei together act as one blending chorus reed or can be split up for more flexability. The Schalmei, since it has an oboe like tone at 8' can act as an oboe stop. The Krummhornregal or Apfelregal I've heard on a portative and if built to a similar temperament can be expected to be imitative of a real Krummhorn instrument as opposed to the French Krummhorn which is imitative of a Clarinet. The Mutation Stops in the Swell also allows for the ability to create a Cornet. Stoplist as the organ sits in a storehouse in Colorado (3 Ranks, 231 pipes, 2" Wind Pressure): Metal Unit Gedackt 8', 4', 2' (last 12 notes are tempered as hybrid Flue/Principals) Metal Unit Principal 4', 2' Metal Unit Gemshorn 4', 2' All of these ranks are playable on the swell, great and pedal and have no couplers of any kind. Planned Stoplist (14 Ranks, 1034 Pipes): Pedal (Non-Duplexed): Sordun 16' - 12 Note Extension Sordun 8' - 61 Notes Regal 16' - 12 Note Extension Principal 16' - 12 Note Extension Gedackt 16' - 12 Note Extension Gemshorn 16' - 12 Note Extension Pedal (Duplexed Voices): GT: Principal 8' GT: Principal 4' GT: Gedackt 8' GT: Gedackt 4' GT: Gedackt 2' GT: Regal 8' GT: Regal 4' SW: Gemshorn 8' SW: Gemshorn 4' SW: Gemshorn 2' Great (Non-Duplexed): Regal 8' - 61 Notes Regal 4' - 12 Note Extension Principal 8' - 61 Notes Principal 4' - 12 Note Extension Principal 2' - 12 Note Extension Gedackt 8' - 61 Notes (Last 12 Bass Notes Re-voiced as true Gedackt flutes) Gedackt 4' - 12 Note Extension Gedackt 2' - 12 Note Extension Sharff/Mixture III - 183 Notes Great (Duplexed): PED: Regal 16' SW: Gemshorn 8' SW: Gemshorn 4' SW Gemshorn 2' SW: Schalmei 8' Swell (Not Duplexed): Gemshorn Celeste 8' - 61 Notes Gemshorn 8' - 61 Notes Gemshorn 4' - 12 Note Extension Gemshorn 2' - 12 Note Extension Rohrflote 8' - 61 Notes Rohrflote 4' - 12 Note Extension Rohrflote 2' - 12 Note Extension Schalmei 8' - 61 Notes Schalmei 4' - 12 Note Extension Krummhornregal/Apfelregal 8' - 61 Notes Quint 1 3/5' - 61 Notes Tierce 2 2/3 - 61 Notes Swell (Duplexed) PED: Gemshorn 16' PED: Regal 16' GT: Regal 8' GT: Regal 4' PED: Sordun 16' PED: Sordun 8' Couplers: Swell to Great Swell to Pedal Great to Pedal

I greatly admire your project, what a journey from your original Moller Artiste 3 ranks. Do you have plans to couple the divisions and add a combination action? I look forward to your future progress. You share two of my interests as well, pipe organs and Star Trek (noticed your USS Enterprise poster behind the growing pipe ranks).

Very nice! I live in Grand Rapids, Mi. I have a 2 manual 11 stop tracker in one room in my house that I'm in the middle of getting adjustments done. Hoping to have it mostly complete by Christmas. Unfortunately life is busy, but will get there! Nice work on your organ and look forward to more video updates in the future! -John..

The 16 foots on the side, are they harmonic bridges attached to the mouth? Noticed some of the Vox Humana has the very long boots but very short resonators and some have longer resonators and shorter boots. Great tremulant by the way and the skinny out of tune vox Celeste stop

I found a 1970 11 stop Reuter with 90s updating in Wichita that I am moving to my home on the rio grande. Adding a 32' Estes bourdon I found in Dallas. Yeah I think not being digital extension is important. It's not the most pipes in nm but I do have the only 32' octave in nm. Also Adding a 61 note toy chest as I morph this into a theatre organ. It took me awhile just find a existing house that was adequate construction to put an organ in. I have 8' ceiling but the upstairs and 👇 rooms are 30x30. I took ugly cheap spiral stairs out and shoved the bigger pipes and stopped 16' flutes in the stairs cove. Organ people are weird . The swell takes up one of the living room. I have 5 octaves of Reuter trumpet in my living room. Will finish the install summer of 23.

I have somewhat of a silly question I suppose: The pipe organ uses a blower to feed wind into the bellows, they regulate and provide the air to the windchests and pipes, allowing them to speak. Assuming this is a closed system, what happens when the blower is running but no one is playing or no stops are selected, where does all this air go? Do the bellows get rid of the air? What about when you select a stop and the bellows start sending air to that specific windchest? What if no one plays it? Does the windchest now gets rid of the extra air?

You should be able to disassemble and reassemble the Moller Artiste blindfolded and with one hand behind your back! 🤣😎. I’m an organ builder in Canada, and you should be proud of your accomplishments with this instrument. It is no easy task! Make sure you put this on your resume. The skills you learned to do this, are just as valuable as college education. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you need any advice or help.
