One of the most out of the box things to find on a funkadelic record, and what a record that is! Cosmic Slop is masterful

Great version. Beautifully weird production. EI is a TOTALLY underrated guitar player. You hear his playing in Prince’s soloing. Both great, great players.

discovering the pfunk solo albums is the same joy as figuring out your favorite rap song from the 90s was a soul cut from 20 years before. these legends are like stepping into a time machine and finding out star wars was invented by dr funkenstein and the white man fought a 50 year war to destroy soul music.
