There is one monster ridden by a dwarf. If the monster is squished you DO get to reform the dwarf by himself in mid game

... so its playdoh for slightly older kids. Im actually kinda ok with this. If it plays quick, could be a fun time. Im more concerned with cleanup and messes though. Especially those books.

I'm wondering if these are the same exact models in the Fallout miniatures game Wasteland Warfare. Do they need to be assembled and/or painted?

Yes, they need to be assembled and painted. They are compatible with Fallout Wasteland Warfare, so they're the same scale. The 3 gangs from Nuka-World are plastic where most of the FWW range are resin models with a few exceptions here and there.

I haven't played WW, but my impression is that this is supposed to be a quick and easy skirmish game compared to WW's crunch and "granular" (convoluted?) rules.

@@Christian_from_Copenhagen That's right. Fallout Wasteland Warfare has a lot of depth of gameplay and options for how to equip your models (and robust solitaire rules). It can be more than some people want in their skirmish gaming, so this is indeed meant to be simpler/quicker to play with less complexity and more of a player-versus-player emphasis.

I cant believe that they made mistake with life tracker color and every reviews i have seen points it out Tho the upside is people on Reddit are using d20 as enemies (and their own) life tracker which i thought its cute solution Planning to sleeves them all up when the box arrives to my location

If this was launching with all factions fully supported, I would preorder. As it is, I’ll be waiting until BoS, Enclave, Caesar’s Legion, NCR, Super Mutants, and all the others are full supported in game.

The datasheets are in the app are not the same as the combat patrol ones. Abilities are completely different.

I love that it's a small play area for a nice tight games that's easy to transport and set up. Plus with the low model count it'll have a low barrier to entry (I've got enough Blood & Plunder minis that I can run a demo campaign at my club and hopefully get more people into pirates!)

So basically its the same thing as Star Wars LCG except ground units and space units can't attack eachother which seemed to be a common complaint even though it really wasn't that big of a deal.

I’ll keep playing the good ccg by decipher and skip this thing. Those cards are fantastic in design and feel to the movies. And the mechanics are amazing

the only problem is finding players. swccg is awesome from what I remember but it’s been over 20 yrs since I’ve played. I don’t want to play jaded decipher ppl who’ve been playing for years or on gemp.

So for the base Tarkintown, it has an Epic Action, but i do not see a cost listed. Is it free? I understand it's once per game but how can I activate it?

Yeah the cost is free and it just takes up your turn and whatever effect that is listed happens
