I was a kid when the events that actually happened in this movie occurred. I clearly remember when Lufthansa cargo robbery was broadcasted on radio and TV. My father was a Longshoremen and saw a lot of the Mafia activity going on when ships came in from other countries. I am a 69 year old Black women who for the first 10 years of my life grew up in a Mafia neighborhood and my family had NO issues from our neighbors. In fact two of my childhood associates are still in my life. But Martin Scorsese put this story on screen with total perfection.
