Fantastic sound ..Wonder what amp sounds that good. And comments keep saying "laminate" (like a swear word.) ..folks the Gibson es-175 is laminate back and sides and the quintessential jazz box for many. Thanks for the upload, lovely music well played.! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

I have the slightly more affordable version with one wood colour on the body. Great sounding guitar & also very eye catching! Got it before they jumped up $500!

I'm in love with my Norman b70 guitar. It looks like its solid birdseye maple. But i can find nothing at all about it online. Cheers!

Needs a wider nut width!!! Too narrow at 43mm.....otherwise I'd have one.

Very similar in sound and appearance to the Gretsch G5420T Airline Silver. Are they made by the same Chinese manufacturer?

De ritmo está fatal este chaval, solo es una crítica constructiva.

I'm a full time acoustic soloist. Everything from Arlo Guthrie to 311. I have an A6 Denim Blue Flame and I do use a TC Electronic BodyRez pedal (which, or an equivalent, is a MUST for any transducer guitar) to give body to the transducer. It's hard to get a "working man's" tone from this instrument. If I were a jazz man or a big band guy, it would be simpler. Warm and clean or warmer and soft. But I need to go from strum to lead instantly. I have a Taylor T5 Custom, a Guild S7CE Peregrine, and have used a Crafter SA in the past as well. They are all more gig friendly right out of the box. All three of them are very forgiving. Not the A6 (The crafter SA was the best of the bunch as far as flexibility but I sold it). I need flexibility. IT's not practical to make these kind of adjustments on the fly ON the instrument. Here's my setting that works for me: First off, the OEM humbucker is WAAAAY too big and boomy for this guitar. It's the biggest design flaw in my opinion. A 20k or less HB would have been AWESOME. I buried it down in the body as deeply as I could, with the high side slightly higher. My "on guitar" settings: Humbucker: Bass all the way down, treble all the way up. Volume at about 65% Piezo: Bass at 37%, treble at 40%, mids at about 60%, and volume at max. On my mixer I have the bass at 11 and the treble at about 12:30. I turn the TC BodyRez pedal off when soloing. It reduces compression and brings back some of the mids and gives a different voice which you want. This guitar can be terrible or awesome, but the settings are crucial, and the good sounds are counter intuitive on the controls to what one would think reasonable. Those crazy Canadians. :/

….was coming to check out this guitar. Wasn’t familiar with Doyle Dykes, but was interested to hear what this type of guitar had to offer. And I was like… man, they have a ringer demo’ing this for the ad. lol. It’s the guy who the guitar was made for. Got it. 😂

80% the player - 20% the instrument. Doyle could play a Hello Kitty guitar (the toy not the pink Strat) and it would sound great.

beautiful playing! I own a Godin single pickup 5th ave Kingping and its wonderful to play, even accoustically. This higher end one must be a bliss. I would prefer one with single pickup though (more resonance when playing accoustic)

I remember in the 90's, my uncle bought a Norman Acoustic Guitar from the local mom and pop shop here. $400. Very plain, oil finish, natural color. THAT guitar was phenomenal. Really really great guitar. It felt, played, sounded, and looked phenomenal. It was like a Martin design. Even the shape of the headstock. I like the Epiphone Hummingbird I have but I really should have checked out what Norman's been up to. I never forgot that. That guitar really stuck. I'd have been confident I could buy any Norman Guitar, and it would perfect.

Outstanding guitar playing. This lick made the hairs on my arm stand up: 1:00 I hope Godin pushes the LGXT body style more as it's my favourite, but I think we can see where Godin's push to produce Les Paul inspired guitars comes from.
