What you have experienced is not serious issues... Your choice of owning Honda City is a wise decision. Check for Engine oil and gear oil.. Milege can be improved. I used pre owned Honda City car for 3 years. Quite satisfied. You wont feel comfortable if you buy Alto. I suggest you to make those small issues rectified and enjoy the comfort and safety of Honda City...

Its purely our fault of buying 2nd hand vehicle without knowing the owner or his driving style or his vehicle maintenance did by owner based on records and finally purpose of selling the vehicle...I am proud owner of Honda City 4G and the car is so superfine and with regular maintenances and single use and achieved the mileage of almost 10-11 KMPL in City roads and 17 in Highways. While Rash Driving gave me results of 8-9 KMPL in city and 13-14 KMPL in Highways on Driving beyond 120 KMS or frequent high acceleration or deceleration/breaking ...etc..Also referring to SKODA its a not doubt excellent built quality but the spares and service or maintenance cost are high compared to HONDA.Also in any car when you notice even a small differences in terms of noise or feel or indications go,get clarified with the service provider instead of waiting it to get a big challenge to cost more in terms time and efforts....Treat your car or bike as your heart since it can make you to live life or otherwise. Take care !

Occasion car usage no need Alto... use less repair cost in H.City and use.

Don't buy Honda bikes they are cheaters , shine ex showroom price itself 66000 90000 on road is unacceptable even for my pulsar bike which exshowroom is 94000 but on road only 1.15 , Honda uses there brand name to collect extra charges, Honda waste too the core.

1. Get to know how to service your car, from KZbin, Workshop service manuals and service tools 🔧. 2. HONDA CITY GEN-3 . Very good vehicle, good buid quality. 3. Fix the oil leak issue of Engine, pump, fuel lines, brakes fluid lines, hydraulic clutch line. Coolent, water pump, gaskets. If you don't, there will be serious risk to engine damage. So, find it. 4. Suspension system, get it serviced. Don't leave the car at agencies, care of your father. The service supervisor will notice, the vehicle is unattended and charge on parts that were not actually replaced. 5. Find some one who owns a Honda City and get some information regarding service. DIY. All the very best.

I am surprised that when you are in Marthandam you could have consulted the famous youtuber "motowagon" who is in your place itself. Before buying any car, new or old you need to have a good study of the brand, variant, mileage and the features. A car is meant to be driven and not to be parked in the garage. Honda City seems to be a good choice and for any second hand car you should be prepared to spend at least an additional lakh towards these upkeep. From your words I understand you like driver-enthusiast cars. Then never opt for cars like Alto which you will regret. As a Honda city owner I would advise you to continue with the present one. If u ask me, tyre and battery u could have checked while buying itself. Mileage - it's based on your driving style (proper RPM). What else u can expect from a sedan petrol car. And. Sedan car ground clearance u know in the market. Mostly, in used car market, after u buy any car u should be ready to spend another 50k approximate

Wheels were jammed in the muddy land. So much of mental torture. No spare parts available for Ford Fiesta. The mechanic told me go to Coimbatore to get spare parts from scrabbed cars. Finally I disposed the car to mechanic. Electrication was also failed. I spent 50000 rupees for used car. Brother you can use present car instead of getting new one.
