I used to like to stand out, esp at clubs or raves.. or festivals. I like to follow trends if i think they are cute but don’t feel the need to.. though now I would rather blend in. Wearing clothing appropriate for a certain task like you mentioned. Im weird and mentally ill enough in plain clothing.. i don’t want to draw attention to myself. After several psychotic episodes and psych ward visits, lifelong abuse trauma and ptsd my self worth and esteem is not high enough for me to want to stand out. I still like to look classy and dress up more often than most people in my area but it is a hassle and time consuming to constantly come up with something new and exciting to wear when its hard to do most things in life. Love your videos Mina! (Btw im kinda glad for you that you didn’t get heavily into big fashion.. met gala type stuff.. thats a really REALLY dangerous industry… spiritually and physically. like all entertainment) Many Blessings

Uno de los mejores fotógrafos de nuestra isla. Un hombre muy modesto y trabajador. Gracias por todo lo que haces por exponer nuestra cultura. El único fotógrafo que ha dedicado una película a la historia de la Harley Davidson en Cuba. Gracias

... would of been great to see more of the artwork, which looked amazing at the art gallery, instead of close up's of the guy with the beard talking all the time ....

When I was in architecture school i went to many lectures. Liz Diller is boring. Bruce Goff, Richard Meier, E Fay Jones. One of the best was William H Short showing us the Guggenheim being built. He was clerk of the works.

Can find a segment from WTVJ's "Montage" series from May 1978 about the excavation for ancient Tequesta artifacts from the construction site of what would become the James L. Knight Center and the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Miami along the Miami River. The Tequesta were a native people that lived in and around what's now Miami for at least 2,000 years before Europeans settled in the area. Tequesta artifacts can be found along the banks of the river, which was one of the main thoroughfares for the tribe. Site archaeologist was Carlos Martinez.

I'm now in the late fall of my life. I worked in the Art field in the 80's and early 90's. This work by George Segal is one of the finest and most moving sculptures I have ever seen. It's profoundness is truly impactful if you have an the underlying understanding of the Biblical and Qur'anic narrative. George Segal was brilliant. May he rest in peace.

I love the connection with history in Jeannette Ehlers' performance and the use of female body politics embedded embroidered in Kelly Sinnapah Mary's works. Bold and challenging. Thanks for sharing!
