Good video.. But.. I got it work like you said int the library view and it appears there with it's image all fine and dandy and when I click on it, it launches. But it is no where to be seen in the original kontakt view with all the library names running down the left... Any ideas

Thank you so much for making a video on this! It was incredibly helpful! For Mac users the Native Instruments/Kontakt folders are located at: ~/Library/Application Support Just paste that location into Go to Folder and the rest of the process is the same as on Windows.

I have to agree that i use their earlier instruments still to this day which is why i am such a fan. The ultra engine left me a little cold to be honest and my faith was somewhat renewed with this Kontakt instrument..... I will always LOVE Gamelan!

Thank you ! very helpful ! but for some reason (and even after beeing 200 % sure of renamming some folders the right way) the images don't show up in kontakt on a few folders. But successful operation for 99 % of it ! Thanks

Just spent an enjoyable hour adding images to 5 third-party Kontakt 7 instrument folders, thank you. FYI, the only 'failure' I had was with The Wildmother's Dulcimer. This is the exact name as shown in Kontakt when clicking on the folder, as you advised. It's also exactly how I put it on the NI images folder. Nada. I've tried it without the apostrophe, in both places, but still no luck. If you have any thoughts on why this is so, I'd be grateful for them.

What's really important is there: THE SOUND. How does it sound? Completely badass, that's how! It has a deceptively simple layout, but the signal can be radically modulated, even within the oscillator section. The filters are very powerful and sound as juicy and rubbery as you like, or as clinical and precise as you need them to. There are many different types, and all I've tried so far leave nothing to be desired. The new Moog filter is outstanding, and the fractal filters, though pretty bizarre, can allow for some really original, noisy, nasty sounds. Dubstep kids will have a blast with these! The oscillator section is simply superb. There's a lot here, and I won't go into all the details, but I've not yet found an easier to use Wavetable implementation in a very long time. I'm very, very happy to have a synth with powerful wavetable capabilities that doesn't live in hardware. It's about time! I can't wait to hear the wavetables that get added in future updates. The stock ones are already incredibly useful, but I'd like to hear lots of morphing, twisting, stretching ones. The more the merrier! All the other oscillator types, including sample players, are pretty wicked. I'm really excited to see where all this goes in the future. The purity and power of these sources is astonishing... no aliasing or digital fluffiness anywhere to be found! This synth is a dream to program once you understand the basics. You can whip out fantastic-sounding patches one after the other once you know your way around. Saving is not a hassle and is very straightforward. Creating a new patch is made easy with several useful templates on hand. The effects, though often not complicated, generally sound superb. The reverbs seem especially tuned to synth sounds right out of the box so you don't have to go tweaking. The modulation effects sound very rich and sweet. The delays are quite flexible, and everything else generally does its job with aplomb. No complaints! All around, this is a fantastic-sounding synthesizer, and the various Output modes, such as Psychoacoustic, are really the icing on the cake. There are very few, if any, soft synths currently available that are capable of sounding this rich and powerful with so little tweaking. I have many, and I love a lot of them, but this just makes everything so simple... everything's laid out sensibly, and I can go about as fast as I can think. Brilliant!

Very nice review!. Not only that, but also to see how you use the library in your score and the thoughts behind it. I just bought it a week ago, and try to use every single free moment to play and discover all the features.

Export to midi is need in orders to create a full score! It has little to do with using different sample libraries IMHO.

Geez, I messaged you snot Orchestra Complete 3, but here is THE SCORE. Note I was snot to try complete 3 but how can you choose?
@JamesSpillingMusic4 ай бұрын
So they do offer me different things. The Score (for me and on my opinion) is a fantastic ideas maker. It's one of those libraries that you can pull up if you need to get some creative juices flowing. I wouldn't actually use it to write. The danger is that there is a load of music out there simply sounding like the score!! We must keep our individual voice! But as ai said it's such a good cure for writers block, orchestration ideas or simply to get a project moving.... somewhwre!

I just saw this and don’t know if you will answer me, but there are so many purists libraries out there and I listened to Cory Pellizzari on version 2. Do you think this would be a great star for someone like me learning orchestration? I know it has solo instruments also. What about support? Note lots of $$$$$. Thank you for your time.

Hey! Just seen your other message as well. I absolutely love The Orchestra Complete and would use it for composing. For me it does offer some helpful orchestration which can lead me down a certain path ... i would then need to tweak!

@ 10:50 I was thinking the same thing - as far as changing the individual sounds and being able to assugn custom midi to each one of those sequencers… would really take the rompler where it needs to go.
@ghfjfghjasdfasdf5 ай бұрын
@ 4:30ish Well I’ll be! Your video and demonstration of this rompler pack made me realize that I don’t have a single mouth harp anywhere on my build. $260 for this library is steep - I wonder if Big Fish Audio ever does sales. All their libraries seem so overpriced, high quality, overpriced…
