Hi! A small tip from a foreigner that started reading in english years ago. Do a reread of a favorite book in english - that way you'll be familiar with the story and will pick on the meaning of words rather quickly.

I have heard the same as the comment above, reading your favourite books in English so you know the story already! A lot of people will also start with children’s fiction, or teenage fiction too so it’s easier at first! Let me know how you get on! ❤️

I will be 100% honest, I read Lore last year and I was majorly disappointed. And I dnf’d To Kill a Kingdom 👀🙈 That being said, there are quite a few we both have on our TBR, such as When the Moon Hatched and Warrior of the Wild xx 🫶🏻 I will always make sure you have a plentiful supply of biscuits and I’m so excited for our many buddy reads 🤣🤣

Look at my beautiful bestie 🩷🩷 If you loved Fable, you need to pick up Adrienne’s other books. I have been a fan since Sky in the Deep came out ✨ The Spell Shop looks SO good. I want to pick it up soon. Tricia Levenseller’s Daughter of the Pirate King was 👌🏻👌🏻 I was king of crushed that they changed the covers 🙃 I love the original covers.

By bestie is gorgeous 🫶🏻🩷 You need to finish the GRR series - it was 👌🏻👌🏻Stefan Dalca is 10/10. I really need to get to A Tempest of Tea now it’s autumn, it gives me Six of Crows vibes and I was obsessed 🫶🏻 It’s Heartless Hunter now! 🩷 I haven’t started Hurricane Wars yet but it makes sense why it is quite complex with it being a Reylo fic - I can’t even imagine having to write an entirely new world similar to the complexity of the Star Wars universe. I want to read Belladonna this fall if you want to buddy read? 👀
