The brushing on the snare is ethereal , don’t see anyone mentioning this , I believe it sets the tone of the song a lot, it gives a nostalgic feel

I used to listen to this when I was a kid, maybe 15-16. I’m 22 now, I really wish I could go back to when I first found this, it feels like childhood, I haven’t been there in so long, I miss it

And the distance isnt really that far And it doesnt really matter at all As long as you care that i am here Cause you know that i will always be there And what we do from now All will determine if we succeed or fail And ill be there when you need me the most When your aching or cold Ill bring you blankets of snow And too the worries in your heart And i know that it is difficult When we have our diffrences But know that in time Eveything will be just fine And im just trying not to get lost And im trying not to love in the past Stepping on shards of glass I just hope that this can last Ill be there when you need me the most When your aching and feeling alone Ill bring you blankets of snow Too the worries in your heart I just hope this lasts

Lovely singing, beautiful trumpet solo from Moises the fire-trumpeter himself ! Is it true that Ms. Sousa makes all her own dresses? This red creation is stunning!

An unbelievable rendition, full of heart and sensitivity. A player who served the song with such delicacy and subtlety. Chet was so special and he turned out great performances throughout his whole life. His voice (both literal and figuratively) had the innocence of a child and the sophistication of a jazz master. A truly unique talent.

In the hush of midnight's shadowed tune, Chet's trumpet weeps beneath the moon. Notes like teardrops softly fall, Echoes of a melancholy call. In smoky rooms where shadows dance, Chet's horn weaves a forlorn romance. A solitary sigh, a lonesome cry, As melodies of heartache amplify. His trumpet whispers tales untold, Of love that's young, and love grown old. Through muted brass, a mournful plea, A requiem for lost ecstasy. A lonely street, a dim-lit bar, Chet's music drifts like a fading star. In every chord, a soul laid bare, A sonnet of sorrow suspended in air. Each breath he takes, a heavy sigh, A wistful echo, a muted goodbye. Through amber notes, the pain unfolds, A symphony of sorrows, stories untold. The night embraces the mournful sound, As Chet's trumpet weeps, unbound. A ballad etched in shadows deep, In the music of Chet, the sadness seeps.
