The mom says dad "got a C in paternal expression." but he litterally tried to hug Will, while Will went for a handshake...to his father...who is trying to hug him.

The bodysuits are ridiculous. The dialogue isn’t much better. The outdoor scenes are pleasing, though. How did Joey Tribbiani get into the mix? 🤣

I love how they used the TV shape of the ship as a passing reference and then it falls away to show the new ship

I actually inflicted this movie on my family through hotel pay per view when it was released on home video purely on how cool this opening scene was.

3:32 Very legit HOLLYWOOD moment of reality right there. Space garbage, no worries of it damaging any communications, GPS or military satellites or other important 'stuff' orbiting the earth that humans rely on.
@FirstLastOneАй бұрын
This movie was made even more believable by the fact that Joey Tribiani was the bossman pilot of that garage kept, interstellar spaceship parked up on the roof of their downtown condo.

It was cool that Joey finally made it out of commercials, tv soaps and into movies. Wonder if this made his career? And does he still comm with his friends back in NY now that he’s a movie star?

I've always liked the concept of HUD contacts. SGI (Silicon Graphics) had a prominent product placement throughout even though, Ironically, the majority of CGI special effects were made using 3D Studio Max. They still hold up pretty well 26 years later.

Really wish Matt Le Blanc did more action/scifi movies. I know he used to get criticized for his acting ability. He would do great against all the modern trash "actors" we now have to put up with.

I've used the line a few times myself. Either in reference to some gadget that has completely automated a formerly-skilled function, or in reference to some person who would not have a job if not for the aforementioned automated gadget.

The eldest daughter should be lucky there is an attractive on this trip to procreate with. The next time, she sees a compatible human might be 30 years. The fact that the guy brought his family is selfish, cause he doomed them to zero socializing.
