I love bloodborne. Everything about the lore, the characters, weapons, the world, but especially the songs. Every monster has their own atmosphere, whether it's something like fighting a ferocious monster, to someone who could or should have been saved, but death only be their mercy.

That game, is a masterpiece deep an meaningful as cismos with no obvious answers where things truly starts and where they ends. Musical part is so true to the game and makes Bloodborne a whole complete body.

I don't get why it wasn't the GOTY, in that time I played half of The Witcher 3, and the game was boring for me but I did get why people liked it and I thought it deserved, I bought a PS4 and tried Bloodborne and I really think that was a robbery, the soundtrack, the bosses, the story, gameplay, replayability, everything in bloodborne is just way better

So what was it then? The hunt? The blood? Or the old hunters dream?

Games mostly consists of making dopamine fuelled addictions, and although souls games can be addicting too, they are one of the few games that I can consider to be a form of art. The story of Bloodborne is only properly told through its game format, no film or painting alone does it full justice. And the music that goes along with it doesn't feel like it would belong in a game at all, but it does, and it really makes me proud in a way. To see that games are not only just for fun, but also for creativity and intellectual capacity of the mind. And as a final note, the addictive properties of the game are also different from other games, such at the game can be very punishing, but if you learn it fully, it is also very rewarding. It is at least, somewhat different than of other games, where difficulty is adjustable. The story of bloodborne and any other souls game is only properly told through its difficulty. And so, the creators decided to never sacrifice that aspect for any easier way of making people hooked, the story came first, and always will. That's how you make a damn good game, you don't sacrifice what you think is most important.
