Precious. And funny how they had that circular thing behind them. A coincidental preview of the circular screen years later.

7th July, 2006 Syd Barrett took his leave from this plane, to 'See Emily Play'. Sometimes the rest they seek can only be obtained, when they brush the dust of this Earth from their feet. RIP Syd & thanks for sharing your thoughts, before they were stolen from you 😊

Howie Edelson - definition of a clueless critic. “The album should’ve started with cut my hair…” No dude, it started where they wanted it to. When you write and perform a piece of art like this, you start it where you want. Until then, piss off.

Why didn't Snowy's record co. take Mark to court for plagiarism. They took George Harrison to court for his My Sweet Lord! Hell, John Fogerty was taken to court for sounding like John Fogerty!

Nel solo live di Sorrow, David Gilmour traccia fraseggi....potenti, taglienti e furiosi, brillanti e maestosi... fa paura.

im sure it wasnt just the drugs with syd, many have said that, there were other things that led to his breakdown if you want to call it that, it started i feel with losing his father when he was about 15 or 16 for me that was the start, its a very complex case ,we will never know what caused him to crash and burn its a sad story ,but i still believe in the last 30 or so years he was in his own way content or accepting about what happened to him, his music with The floyd is amazing still ,and the solo records to, but the music business took a terrible toll on him,so sad ....

I was 13 years old,on holiday in Blackpool, July 1967,memories of this being played on Radio Caroline North from just across the sea, walking along Blackpool's beaches, everyone's radios tuned to Caroline, bought this then and still have it, lovely times , Thankyou Caroline.

Best acid band there ever was. Escorted them from Brighton to London`s Rainbow theatre in my friends antique hurse for their next concert. They installed leslie cabinets all round the balcony to spin the music round the theatre. One of the best trips I`ve ever had.

Rain on me is to me their best song. Most everyone-at least I hope-has gone through that. One way or another. I remember exactly the moment that was. Won’t share here but I do remember it perfectly.

Mods as a gang is so very English. We had Rockers in the USA-think Marlon Brando. But maybe hippies were ISA mods? I don’t know.

As a drummer myself Keith plays to the vocals more of a melody player than making than the usual 4 4 keeping time for the other musicians. He was like a orchestra on the drums to me he is one of my favourite drummers and he certainly played his way and in one of the greatest rock bands with all different personalities he certainly fit in with The Who!

It’s crazy this is the same band that put out DSOTM. Syd infamously was really starting to lose it this year. 1967. Sadly. Mental illness sucks.
