What is the best way to remove the stand up back on a frame to make it a wall hanging frame? TIA❤
@AnastasiaDesigns9 күн бұрын
Usually if it hangs flat on the wall, I won't remove the stand. But if it makes the frame stick out then I will. Sometimes they are screwed in and you can unscrew them, but usually they are imbedded into the cardboard backing, and in that case I carefully pull them off using my hands or pliers. 😊 You could also just replace the cardboard backing with one that doesn't have a stand. I hope that helps!

*GLAZED FRUIT SLICES FOR DECOR OR GARNISH* To make dried fruits like orange or lemon slices look glazed or glossy after drying them in the oven, you can use the following methods: 1. Sugar Syrup Coating Make a syrup: Combine equal parts water and sugar (e.g., 1 cup each) in a saucepan. Heat until the sugar dissolves completely, creating a simple syrup. Dip the slices: Submerge the fruit slices in the syrup for a few minutes to coat them. Dry again: Place the slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake them at a low temperature (about 200°F or 93°C) until dry and glossy. 2. Honey Glaze Mix the glaze: Combine honey with a little water (1 part honey to 1 part water) to thin it slightly. Brush it on: Use a pastry brush to coat the fruit slices lightly. Dry again: Bake at a low temperature until the honey sets, giving the slices a glossy finish. 3. Corn Syrup Apply a thin layer of corn syrup directly to the dried fruit slices using a pastry brush. This gives a shiny appearance without additional drying, though it might remain slightly sticky. These methods add shine and a slight sweetness, perfect for decorations or garnishes. Let me know if you’d like detailed steps for any of these! *LOVE YOUR CHANNEL* I live in Eastern Shores North Miami and it’s way too hot the entire year. The only type of Christmas trees we have are the ones imported from a Canadian Tree Farm (that’s where we get ours) and there’s this beautiful Young Australian Pine tree with needle-y but they look so enchanting and Christmas-y! They grow behind the Eastern Shores canals. They’re so beautiful 🩵 I’m definitely picking multiple branches to put inside in vases or bowls the way you did! TY for all those amazing ideas you’ve shared 🩵

Love your decorating style. Maybe someone has commented on this already but if you want to get stuck on candle wax off metal such as brass without removing the patina, dip the whole thing in nearly boiling water. The wax will melt and can be wiped off easily.

I loved them all. That garland turned out beautiful and I’m not gonna lie, I’d have probably been like, um it looks old and it’s not real touch. But those are great for a base even if it wasn’t as good, because it’s harder to build up the real touch garlands. You really brought it back to its former beauty though! Congrats on 12k girl. I really love your channel. I love diy channels but some of them are things that are so hard to recreate, like I had this tiny doodad that came from this other whatchamacallit… lol. Yours are just simple things we can keep our eyes open for or help us to reimagine something we already own!
@AnastasiaDesigns14 күн бұрын
Aww thank you so much!! I’m happy to have you here 🥰 Those garlands do make great bases and there’s really no limit to what you can add to them. I like to look for ones that have a realistic green color too. I love the real touch garlands too and hope to get some one day :)
@trinapemberton14 күн бұрын
@ more and more people are coming out with them now so they’ll get easier to find. I really hope for you to get done or some real touch stems to add in, but it does like beautiful as is!

The thrifted red colored vase ( I smiled when I saw it, and then almost had a stroke when you painted it. HA HA) liked the end result a lot. # 6 with a battery-operated lamp, would; be a great light source for those times when the electricity goes out. #7 I agree, it is easier to paint than to restyle;e those jugs. 8 I see a white pumpkin.. great result. #9 I love the candle; muhs less that 300.00 10 I am worried because it is black; it is gorgeous. 11 Fantastic. Did she like it/ 12 beautiful piece 12 Awesome! and the greenery is a great touch 13
