In the workflow setup, if there are two approvers for this approval, how can we ensure that the approvers(both) receive the email notifications?

@jaclynlee-g8h, On the Approval User setup window, the user's emails need to be populated and if the two users are part of the same Workflow User Group, then they'll both receive the email notification for approval. Hope that helps!

@@aedanrobinson6447 , To bring the price of the assembly into the Project/Job, you need to perform an item ledger entry to charge the assembly item inventory to the job/task/planning line. This will bring the full cost of the assembly into the job. Hope that helps!

Dynamics 365 Business Central offers options for conflict resolution, such as choosing which company's data to prioritize. Incremental Updates: Rather than a complete overwrite, use incremental updates to synchronize only the changes made since the last synchronization. This reduces the risk of data loss and ensures continuity. Data Validation: Regularly validate and clean the data before and after synchronization to maintain data integrity and consistency. the notification of email does not include the which record has been change, it onnly said the value change from old to new value ,. but not said exactly which record has been modifed, Imagine we need to monitor a boolean field at table Customer , we have 10000 customer , so can we know field for which customer has been modifyed ?, do you have any idea?

@khoivu8172 The feature is for basic field monitoring and does not get into that level of detail, but it provides a notification when a tracked field has been changed. If you are looking for something more detailed, you can use something like Power Automate to trigger notification emails instead. I hope that helps!

We're not 100% sure what the issue is but we recommend you either ensure the filters you have set on the suggest reminder lines page are correct with regards to what records you want pulled into the reminder, or that you ensure the reminder term code field on the reminder card in the posting fast tab has been populated. Hello. Yes, you can set up a replenishment method for the print item to be "order" so that MRP will tell you to print it every time an order comes in. You can sell non-stock items for a price but I don't think they would have a cost.

Hello. Would you advise on using the Variants to track for example packaging types ... ? Say you have an item that has always come in a box of 50 ... And suddenly the manufacturer decides to pack them by 40 in a box instead of 50 without changing anything about the item number. Hello, as long as the base unit of measure is PCS or EA, then this is simply an alternate unit of measure issue. Define alternate purchasing units of measure as case packs of 40 or case packs of 50. You can easily see how many of each case pack multiple you have.

Hey, could you please answer my question in case we send our own material to the vendor for processing. You mentioned we need to create a new location for this vendor in our company, create a transfer order to this new location, and consume components from this location. But in real life, we will ship the material to the vendor from our system, and we need to indicate this shipment in our system. Transfer orders are only within our company, between different locations; if we consume material in the way you described, there won't be material available to ship to the vendor in the system. Hi @remmit_411, You cannot reserve the inbound inventory against a "Customer", it must be against a transaction for the Customer. For example, you would have to create a Sales Order for the customer, then make the reservation against the inbound Purchase Order/Transfer Order and wait to post said Sales Order until the purchase request has been made. Note: Shipment Date of Sales Order must be AFTER the Expected Receipt Date of the Purchase Order/Transfer Order

I liked the video, but find either the calculations or the date descriptions illogical. If the CTP calculation only looks at your offset time (time needed to issue a new PO), and not a true lead time for that item (the time actually needed to procure that item), then the earliest delivery date is not actually a delivery date, rather the earliest date at which you would be able to give a delivery date. What am I missing?

Hi @surfmase, You are technically correct. You'd have to create the PO using Requisition Worksheet (which does look at lead) to then get the Delivery Date off the PO.

HI @Luke-zr5ew, There's nothing native in BC that'll prevent a user from setting a PO status to Open. You would have to build a custom extension to prevent users from approving a PO.

@cherylokane2289, If delivery fees are set up as a non-inventory item that hits your desired GL accounts from a cost-tracking perspective, then there is no impact. It'll just impact the cost on the posting shipment right away rather than doing it as a charge item on a separate invoice.

The process we showed was the standard native out of the box process for a low volume scenario and that there are ways to help automate but your Microsoft partner would have to help automate as necessary.
