I bought a used 2015 taurus SHO and looked up the original window sticker that clearly shows the car to have the 401A package which includes the rain sensing wiper feature but the car doesn't actually have it...I guess the original owner of the car didn't catch that he/she was cheated out of that feature. 🤔

@@tonyorob it is possible that is the case. It could still be worth looking into it may be a simple as a fuse. There’s also a possibility that the settings have been changed on the car.

Take the clamp off the top of the air cleaner and move the top out of the way. Take the two 8mm bolts out of the front of the air cleaner near the grille, and pop it up and loose. The fluid cap is under the air cleaner and has a dipstick built into the cap. This is the same procedure used to replace the drivers side headlight bulb.

On my vehicle, it was a simple matter of changing the air filter and the light went out. The air filter was 2 years old.

Was your fan not turning on to begin with because I have a current issue on my 1997 s10. My fan is not blowing at any speed & I have already changed the blower, motor resistor, fuses, the climate control module, & currently working on changing the relay at the moment and still haven’t been able to find and fix the issue?

According to the ford manual you are spossed to drive the car 20mile or until it reaches operating temperature go through each gear for 10sec with your foot on the brake leave the engine running and check the transmission level while it is running.

1.Drive the vehicle 20 miles or until it reaches operating temperature. 2.park the vehicle on a level surface and engage the parking brake. 3.with the parking brake ingaged and your foot on the brake pedal, START THE ENGINE and move the gearshift lever through all the gears allowing for 10 seconds for each one to engage. 4. Latch the gearshift lever in park and leave the ENGINE RUNNING 5. Remove the dipstick, wiping it clean and reinsert it to check fluid level ( ford wants you to keep the car running. By undoing the the clips that hold the wiring harness to the the mass flow sensor undoing the two bolts in the front allowing do to pop out the airbox and move it a little to allow you to have enough room the keep the airbox in the car and all hooked up but being able to reach the dipstick to check the fluid level while the car is HOT AND RUNNING)

Yo! Preciate the video man. Was able to get all mines replaced thanks to this. Didn't fix my misfiring issue though - afterwards, I unplugged each boot from the coil packs while the car was running to see which ones had spark (while shocking myself, ow lol). Turns out my top one, for 3 & 6 had no spark and was bad. Replaced that one coil pack as well, and now my car looks be running smooth again without misfires. Either way tho, THANK YOU!
