There may be something that God is trying to bless you with and he’s testing you to believe and trust in him to deliver it to you.

Not a Christian or even religious but does this apply to the poor too? Many people are barely making ends meet and 10% can make or break them. What about the homeless? Are they less of a Christian for not being able to give away 10%?

@@Nessal83 Great question! From what I read in the Bible the 10% applies to money that God has blessed us with. There are many people that can not give 10% because they don’t have it. In the book of Leviticus it talk about this. Yes people are barley making it but this is where we have to put our faith in God and trust him to believe that he will take care of all of our needs. If we have $10 we should be able to give $1 to a Preacher who is ordained by God to deliver his message to us because that is how the Preacher is able to keep his church open to continue to deliver the message in a church settings. However, if we don’t have any money to give then we should be able to give our time to help improve our church or community. Whether that helping with feeding the less fortunate or being an usher or some talent that God has blessed us with to help someone who is in a worse condition than us. No it’s good to ask questions. In fact this is the reason why I decided to read the Bible for myself because when I asked many questions and many people could not give me the answers that I was looking for. Have you ever read the Bible before? I asked this respectfully because I sense that you genuinely want to understand the thought process of how these rules are formed. However, these are not human rules these are God commands. In order to answer many of your questions that you have today and the many that you’ll have in the future I would recommend that you develop a relationship with God. A few ways to do this is by reading the Bible, praying and connecting with others who believe in him. This will increase your faith
