Hey is me again. Got my edge already! I just had my very first touch on the beauty and it is way more difficult for the touching and control than I expected before. I definitely need some practice so I would like to see if you can have some tips on how and what should I practice especially for the left hand... Also I found something interesting where the positive of touching the ribbon control is very important otherwise I won't get the correct pitch. So for the first note you just did here, I think you started from the very top/left position and slide it to the middle. As for the second note, you started from the middle and slide to the bottom/right to +2 the pitch. And for the vibrato, do I always need to tell myself to do it in the middle position of the ribbon? What exercises or techniques should I be practicing more? I have already done so many research on how to edit the program and tones so hopefully I will get a rather realistic dist. guitar sound like what you did in this video Thanks in advance for the tips and oh yeahhh one more keytar player on the planet =]

Man..because of your cover video, I am going to purchase this keytar. Have been a pop pianist and keyboardist for many years and I never dive into this thing coz I thought it's just a "guitar shape keyboard". Now i can tell it's a freaking epic instrument that an ordinary keyboard cannot do! please post more tutorial on how to perform a keytar. Keep it up the good work!

Awesome explanation of expression in playing. Forget MPE technology...it's useless if one doesn't have the expression within oneself. Pitch bend is KEY to all music except western classical, and this is the original "MPE." Jan Hammer, Jimmy Jam, and so many others.

How do I operate Bridge Mute? I'm a Japanese Keytar Prayer using AX-Synth My operating method is set so that the bridge mute is applied when the keyboard is hit the hardest. When I play a bridge mute note, I play it an octave lower, but it sounds like you are playing a bridge mute without lowering the octave. How can I do something like that? I think it is fair to push keytar brands towards this quality of sound including other instruments sounds (like authentic organ, acoustic intruments, bass, drums..) it should serve as the ultimate composer's tool in studio or on stage. There is great potential that musicians would love. The built in midi sound effects are infuryatingly inferior
