I was NOT able to get it to work with an AT&T sim. Verizon worked fine. Maybe I need to enter an APN or something? Otherwise unit works really nicely, I like it. With the sim card installed it can act as a hotspot for the car, but can also simultaneously connect to my house WiFi in the driveway to download content before I take off. I think they did a good job tweaking the firmware, even comes configured to work great w/o a Google account.

I just bought this. Thanks for your great KZbin review… I cannot log into my google account on any Google products, Google Play, Google Maps, KZbin. the error says: "Couldn’t sign in. There was a problem communicating with Google servers. Try again later.” I did, however, login/sign in to Disney, Netflix and Spotify. They play wellI. I am using an AT&T SIM Card. Thoughts? Also, I cannot change the screen, home page colors. Thoughts?

Hi, yes, this dongle support FOTA online updates directly. Connect phone wifi to our dongle's wifi, and enter our OFTA update website on your phone webrowser, follow the steps to update it. Are there any remotes you know of for carlinkit android 13.0 ? I have a spin wheel not a touch screen in my glc300 and it doesn’t give it a full functionality for KZbin only. I use it on my Toyota which has a touch screen and it works perfectly fine. Any suggestions for a remote. I’ve tried a few but none of them seem to connect.

Hi, this box currently only works with car original head unit with factory wired CarPlay function, for the aftermarket head unit with wired CarPlay function, it is not fully compatible yet.

I still have the problem that I can't find a way to activate the GPS antennas of the box. I don't see this option in any setting. Location in bar above is activated. however, no signals are displayed in the pre-installed GPS app. Another user of the T-Box emailed me a screenshot in which this option is given under Auto Kit Settings with OEM GPS. I don't have this option. Can someone help here please? I definitely have this original Carlinkit T-Box. The updates all work perfectly

I just got this today and was really excited to use this in my 2020 Impala. I hear the startup sound but don't see the video and when I hit the accept and agree on the startup warning screen it backs out and states nothings connected. Am I doing something wrong or does this not work for my car?

You only need to pair the bt remote for once, as long as you paired with it successfully, then it will connected automatically when you start the box system.

@@carprokitcarplay Yes, due to the lag in video. The video isn’t in synch with the audio. Needs to be a way to delay the audio 300-400 milliseconds.

Previous versions of your MMB box would not work on a 2022 RAM 1500 with the 12" Uconnect infotainment system...will this one work?

Hi, there, this latest MMB MAX CarPlay box, it has different CPU with the Android 11.0 box, so they are not quite the same. The MMB MAX box support 4G LTE, but it currently does not support HDMI function yet. And because this is the latest version, we haven't been able to fully tested on all car models yet. Especially for the RAM with 12inch screen, to be honest, we don't have this car model in our country to test it, so we cannot 100% make sure of it yet.

i bought a carlinkit video box for traveling. we love it! i bought it for when i travel with my children, but yesterday we went to my father’s house 3 hrs away and my husband decided to watch a movie(i was driving and listening to it) on our drive home yesterday while stuck in traffic. it made a irritating time for my husband go by so much faster and i didn’t have to listen to his complaining, which made for a much nicer 3 hour drive.

@@carprokitcarplay yes a toyota tundra 2020 it has android auto and carplay, what is weird is it seems like this dongle is carplay mode or something. my wife has an iphone and it connects no issues at all. i see listed in my car infotainment as carplay, i would think i would see it as android auto, is there something special to do to get it so show up as android.
