Love the video and ended up meeting some of these people. They are so cool and chill and honestly super relaxed. Starting to see why him saying the okay was so realistic XD.

@JuniperTaylor-c2bСағат бұрын
not any more - we did super early on just to get some ideas but now we pay artists ^-^ (much better for sure) it was good to just get a prototype off the ground but yeah having actual artists do stuff is amazing!

In the final game, there should be a full art ver. of Mudoink that includes you. I think it would be cool to see (in my opinion)

The first game started off as basically just card-jitsu from Club Penguin. Get 3 cards of same type or 1 card of each type, works on rock paper scissors logic and cards of same type are resolved based on which number is bigger.
@drawingboy41689 күн бұрын
Looks cool, but i think it should change the card front, maybe giving more espace do the monster arts.

Good video overall. But a question. At 3:42, Is the Frilla a filolial. It looks like the birds from The Rising of the Shield Hero. It’s probably not and just a coincidence, but an interesting find in my opinion.

Giving them a price that's reasonable on the market but seems huge when calculated in your country's currency and them just being like "Okay!" is so relatable xD

We initially used some AI placeholders in the first version/tests of the game to get the idea across now we are working with artists to produce the game and characters! - Juni

A bit late to the party, but as a developer I also think quantity of assets matter as well. If you look at someone like Elthen on itch you see he has a bunch of free stuff (tilesets, characters, etc...) then a whole bunch of relatively cheap paid ones (really a lot by now). I find this is great since I can pick up his free stuff and use it when starting a new project, then if I decide to commit to the project I know I can get a bunch more tilesets and characters in the same style for relatively cheap.
