Quick question. I’m trying to purchase some chips but haven’t been able to and was wondering if you can help me. It’s the ROM IC for the cd3217b12, not the cd3217b12 as I have loads of those but the little ROM IC chips. Do you know the part number for those or have a link for them please? I’ve been on Ali but can’t find them. Really stuck and need help. Thanks rich

I’m not sure where to start. Many of you probably enjoy watching Jesse work his magic in fixing all these latest technological marvels folks use today and or were/are looking for some instruction as to how you too might pull off a device fix through Jesse’s instructions. My iPad Pro I have had for some time, started shorting out and then wouldn’t come back on. I sent it to two different repair services but they couldn’t fix it. One in California said they could maybe retrieve the data but it would cost me my life savings. I started looking around on KZbin, trying to see if I might be able to do it if I could figure out what was wrong. Problem was, even if I thought I might know, I wouldn’t/couldn’t be sure my efforts would be successful or not and likely just make it worse. So I was just about to say goodbye to my iPad Pro and put it away in a closet I guess, when I came across Jesse’s video here above. I watched it a dozen times and what I took away from it was that the job Jesse was performing was way beyond my abilities and that Jesse must really know his stuff, like “hold my beer Steve Wozniak” level skills. So I saw where Jesse did do repairs and sent him a “Help me Jesse-Won Kenobi; You’re my only hope” message. Jesse replied back pretty fast, set me up with instructions and off the iPad went. I think Jesse had the iPad Pro just a day and had already fully restored it. I couldn’t believe it. Two of those filters Jesse highlights in his video above had both been fried - probably from the repairmen who had failed before it got to Jesse. It was around 2 in the morning when Jesse sent pics showing the device working again and everything where it should be. I was like: “You did it! You did it Jesse!” and Jesse was like: “Hey, it’s me!, it’s what I do!” And he did at a reasonable price and fast turn around. I can’t praise his service any higher and Jesse likes communicating with his clients while he fixes the device, addressing their questions and possible options and whatnot. With these ever-evolving sophisticated techno devices being made year in and year out - everyone should probably “know a guy” who knows this stuff and can get the job done when called upon. Now I know “a guy.” His name is Jesse Cruz at VCC Board Repairs out of Las Vegas Nevada - and if you or someone else you know is having issues with their iPhone, iPad, Mac book, etc… and want it back working like before - Jesse Cruz is your guy. Thank you Jesse! ;)

Use reverse lead diode check for the following areas: PP1V1_S2 PP1V8_S2 PP0V6_VDDQL_S1 If you have a short here you have a DDR RAM issue Not sure about PP_SRAM_S1 should measure around 0.040 but could be either a SOC or RAM issue, if shorted. PP_SOC_S1 (normally will read low but not a short) PP_CPU_ECORE (normally will read low but not a short) PP0V8_SOC_FIXED_S1 PP_DCS_S1 PP_CPU_PCORE (normally will read low but not a short) PP_GPU (normally will read low but not a short) You have a SOC damaged.
