I replaced the screen on my iPad 7. I can't seem to get the home button to work. Nothing is torn or anything like that. I'm sure I just am not lining it up right but I noticed in your video that theres the button then next to it is the gold color piece then another little section then the part that has what I believe is like a heat shield or little metal cover. My . The popped off of mine exposing what's underneath it. Should I glue it back on ? And mine doesn't have the part between the little gold tab and the place where that heat shield I mentioned is at. Any idea why? And is it of any importance

I have this same issue, but even my original camera does not turn on. I bought an OEM camera pull. Replaced it and after restore it still didnt turn on. I did update, and reset settings. Putting the original camera back does not fix the issue either? In 3U tools i can see the iphone is reading the camera serial number. Does anyone have advice on what to try to fix it? Can this be fixed with the programmer device?

I watched your video on KZbin, and my situation is almost identical to what you described. The symptoms match almost exactly. However, I tested the 0601 resistor, and it measured 4.7 kΩ. I also reballed its pins, but the issue still persists. Even the diode value and the voltage on the resistor's related pins are fine.
