Running DOT slicks (Dunlop GPA pros) and even with DOTs I run warmers to make sure tires are hot and ready to go asap

Bassani imho made the best sounding pipes for the XC. I only switched to the road rage 2-1 because I wanted the increased performance and louder noise. Both were fantastic pipes from bassani

It has a throatier smoother tone to it, still loud due to the megaphone shape (and catless) but not as obnoxious as the M4

So you have to remove the center stand to get it fitted and install the exhaust, however you can put the center stand back on once the exhaust is installed. And yes the power commander would be mandatory or else the bike would be running like garbage and most likely too lean. I had zero issues with the heat from the exhaust, it actually runs cooler without the cat since there's more and smoother airflow

I was afraid I had to delete the center stand to make it work and was contemplating that as a deal breaker I'm glad I can keep it on afterwards (I've seen pictures of guys that leave it off ) . Also which generation power commander did you run? I would rather stick to a late model that's been used with no issues instead of the latest and greatest.

@@metalboots5974 I used a power commander V (five) and i had zero issues, downloaded a map from a VFR forum from a member that had the exact same parts and i was good to go.

I went with the full system + K&N air filter as well as a power commander with a map for full exhaust. I had absolutely ZERO issues with this set up, the only side effect i had was SPEEDING AND SMILING with the sound of the beautiful V4 throughout the entire rev range. I had the stock set up with just the delkevic slip ons when i purchased the bike, changing to the full system and tuning it made a HUGE sound and performance difference. Pulling the baffles also helped make it louder and had a nice flame thrower effect on high rpm decel.

Still got tons of room for improvement, want to get down closer to the 1:10 mark, i got 1:14 during the last session so was a great way to close out the season!

how could u not be a fan of v4 lol wtf. what are u fan of? basic inline engines?

@@martinivanov1319 haha, yup… not saying I’m not a fan of V4’s, I just personally don’t ever get excited to hear one… in-line 3 or 4 cylinders usually sound much better in my opinion.

@@JMKGarage well we have completely different tastes then(and thats nothing bad). im a fan of all V shaped engines, cars and motorcycles

​@@martinivanov1319honestly it's a different sound, the v engines that have a growly sound sound better at low revs and when you're idling or revving it in neutral. But in my opinion you cannot beat a screaming even firing engine at suoer high rpms. Like a 812, LFA, R6, Cbr250rr mc22 from the 90's. Even a zx6 or a cbr6 sounds amazing when they pass by at flying high rpms.. Gives me goosebumps, but v engines make me go like hell fucking yeah whenever I hear a v4 being revved at stop lights or something.

Its a blast on the 600! I stayed in 2nd for the most part, sometimes i could/should have gone up to 3rd but gearing was slightly not ideal so either it would be banging the limiter in 2 or too low down in 3rd

It's such a fun track, 18 turns in 2.8km with elevation changes. It's a shame there's only one weekend per season that has motorcycles on track. It's a riot to ride on
