Bing! Ian Baker-Finch has been a tour suck-up for years and frankly, boring. Nothing but ripe blackberries.

How do I get in touch with Gary? Is there an email address? My parents were longtime friends with Gary since he first turned pro.

It's an American Indian symbol "whirling log" used by a number of southwestern tribes, mostly the Navajo, and the picture is way before WWII.
@dominate4891 Жыл бұрын
Indeed, it’s an incredibly old symbol used by many different peoples and different cultures. The nazis adopted it and desecrated it and turned the symbol 45 degrees.

Wow what a player! His book is highly coveted and is worth a fortune nowadays. Hoping to add it to my collection…

it was his left eye that he was blind in. and, it is notable how he got his right eye over the ball at impact. maybe it is a good drill to practice with the left eye closed.

If you want a centred turn left eye closed is a great drill it’s S&T 101 👍🏻

Ive been a caddy at butterfield country club for seven years and mike more commonly referred to by peers as "carbs" is one hell of a guy. Hoping this summer i can spend some more time with him talking about the game.

Thank you "So Much" for posting this wonderful tribute to Horten Smith. ...He contributed greatly to golf and is a very important part of the legacy that made Tiger Woods possible. -- I've already posted the video to my website: < HealthyGolf.net > and hopefully, many golfers will come to learn about this well respected "Gentle Giant!" -- Again, Many Thanks, ...DrDom

I am lucky to have Jim and Donna as my next door neighbors in Florida. This tribute is so fitting and accurate, it brought tears to my eyes. I know Jim as my neighbor with the big smile who goes around and fixes everything, does dishes and would do anything for me-or anyone. Donna is both a dear friend and an amazing woman. They are a great couple. I feel so blessed to have them as neighbors. I just love them and would do Anything for them also. Ravinia was lucky to have had them all these years.

When I moved here in 2003, from Memphis, I had just applied to regain my amateur status. I had a job in the healthcare business and was burned out on golf, but inparticular the business. I met a Ravinia member named Dr Shelly Maltz. Super guy, great trauma surgeon, and was blown away by the fact I wanted to get out, so he invited me out to RGCC. When I Jim met I told him a little bit about my journey through the GPTP and such, and that I had decided to resign fr the PGA. He didn't try to save me, or talk me out of it. Shelly tried to put the guest fee on his club account, but took care of me even though I he knew I was getting. I only played 9 holes that day, and Jim doesn't this, and I'm sure he doesn't remembered me or that day, but I stayed in just because of the way he treated me, and maybe me feel. Just the laid back vibe that exudes affected me. So thanks Jimmy and congratulations in award, it's well deserved.
