Driving is so subjective, no one has the definitive answer for it, driving feel and style its unique to each person, i may be right, i may be wrong, who knows, my opinion is not the ultimate opinion, is just i dont feel what i feel in other games, and like i said in the comments, i will not pay something that i dont enjoy and its totaly fine, i dont enjoy how iracing feels on the wheel and i have a pretty decent DD wheel, maybe its my driving style that needs adjustment, or i dont know, is just i dont feel the same way in other sims as i do on iracing, it doesnt suit me.

I just wanted to say that I don't like how iRacing drives, it doesn't suit me, I may be wrong, I may be right, but none then less I feel more comfortable driving in other sims, and that's totally reasonable. I will not play a game that I don't enjoy, simply moving on.

I don't think it handles right myself, it doesn't feel real that's for sure.

@@Markknightexeter Guys, alot of pro drivers and f1 drivers race mainly on iracing at home... There's a reason. The physics are really well regarded. It also looks like you've just tried out the mx5 in the rookies. The racing there is going to be a bit dodgy as its kind of the tutorial mode. The races arent nearly as chaotic as other sims once you get out of the rookies due to the ranking system etc.

@@davethegun true, it just didn't feel right though, I find LFS the most realistic, nothing seems to have come close for years, I'm interested to see what the new physics are going to be like when they come out, then again they've been working on it for years so who knows when that'll happen, but the events are really good as well, very clean racing, I've found.

Valteri Bottas raced in LFS before F1 and when Michael Schumacher raced in F1, there was no iRacing, there's in house simulators that drivers "race" before every GP, it's not made for a consumer.

Im sure many sims will have a big impact in sim-racing that will compete directly to iracing, asseto corsa evo, project motor racing and many others, iracing may have the monopoly right now, but its not as big as it once was, soon other racing games will catch up and im all for it.

@@romandvelde absolutely mate, 12 years on iracing and I'm done. There's other sims out there now which are shit loads better then iracing will ever be.

Yeah, i only tried iracing 10 times over the years, and i couldnt quite have the confidence i have in other sims, is just, i cant get along with iracing, even if i tried enough.

I tried Rafctor 2 physics and its still better than current iRacing physics, i can feel i can push the car and really getting into its limits, on iracing, i cant be consist wiith it, also being fixed setup, i cant extract the driving im used to, i dont know, i never got alot with iracing, even in previous tire models, i dont say its bad, is just, i never got to feel what i felt in real life karting and racing, not my cup of tea

@@WitchcraftMotorsports it could be a lot of factors, not involving racing, it could be marketing, sponsorship, money, interests, promotion and many more.

I'm not saying iRacing is bad, is just I don't feel what I was expecting to feel with the game, there are other Sims that I feel confident and comfortable with, I will simply move on to those.

I would love to see more classic cars, definitly the DIablo GTR are in the charts for a GT1 update, other than that, i would love to see more classic cars to have more pleasure of driving.

The in-game settings are pretty much the default, it's only the wheel that makes the difference, using pretty much 1800° of rotation, and not having too strong of a damper helps with making the wheel rotate on throttle, by basically centering itself, but i will give the full wheel details as soon as I can.

That would be pretty awesome, but unfortunately most mods for AMS2 are ported from Project Cars 1 and 2, realistically I think the game right now doesn't support 3rd party mods from other games but, maybe in the future we can see some tracks being imported from Assetto Corsa for example.

Played AC, ACC, AMS2, Rfactor2, EA WRC, Dirt Rally 1 and 2, Project Cars 2, Live for Speed, Euro Truck Sim, American Truck Sim, BeamNG and many more, i still have quite a roaster of games on pc, but that's what i have played so far.

Yeah for sure, also it was only a demo, the full game might have a different experience from what i felt playing the demo, theres also way more content in the full game, for sure something that i will check out when i get the full game. Theres minor elevation changes in stages, but really depends on the locations, i have seen theres possibly some stages with insane elevation, but even the old PS1 games were somewhat like that, due to the limitation of the console back then, was sometimes not possible to have a big elevation, because of the processing power of the PS1, otherwise in this game, we might see this not being an issue.

I have WRC 10, its good, but i don't know EA WRC feels more natural to me, maybe personal preference.

The game is supposed to come in early access this summer, may they are getting enough money from the SRO Licence but that is going out somewhere soon as rumours say.

It is a demo and the game is supposed to release on pc (steam) in 2024, but theres been an urge of this old type games, and i tried quite a few, maybe is just nostaligia or something, but those graphics arent the whole point of the game, the gameplay is decent and overall the feeling is great, also its still a work in progress, so alot of things can change over the development of the game. Games arent all about pretty graphics.

There was on the survey something related to coop, maybe it will be implemented, but for a casual racer, it is decent.

Like I said there's been a rise on old stuff in recent years, music, TV and also video games, is not as simple as booting up a classic console, some people don't have access to that, maybe having a market that produces this sort of media, games included, may feel a hole on people who lived in a similar time when that media first existed like the old Colin Mcrae rally games on PS1 back in the 1990s.

Its mostly Pure and a PP Filter called AMA. AMA can be foud on RaceDepartment, Pure is a paid mod on patreon, which gives alot to assetto corsa in terms of weather effects.

The car is going to naturally understeer because it's front wheel drive, other than that, I think I also broke a little bit too late on the hairpin, but nothing catastrophic.

@@romandvelde Yeah, but ive looked at your older videos aswell. I have racing experience in ghe real FWD cars, they will understeer. But you are inducing far more understeer when you keep turning thr steering more. If you use light hands and try not to push the steering when it understeers, and instead make minor adjustments bacjward on your steering and throttle, you will find seconds per lap.

Tout les Groupe B sur un jeux de rallye c'est toujours des monstre, Dirt Rally est WRC sont le top jeux de rallye moderne, à deja aussi Richard Burns Rally mais c'est pas la même physique. J'ai déjà essayé le Peugeot T16 avec 500 chevaux, t'es toujours peur de accélérer à cause qui, ils sa arrêté pas. Mais WRC c'est an jeux treux fun.

Clairement les groupes B sont toujours très réussi en terme de sensation dans les jeux Codemaster
