@@BrandonDrives there is only 3 1.6 options for the Astra h and none of them are 150hp, z16xe 105hp also known as the twin port, z16xer 115hp the more common engine, and the z16let / a16let which has 180hp, like I said the only 150hp is the 1.9 CDTI diesel.

At the time this video was recorded, the car was completely stock, I've since put an induction kit on it and will release a video on it soon.

Currently have ram-air induction kit on it, it makes the same sound but a lot cheaper 😅 I might take him out again or when I get an exhaust 🤫

In this video yeah it was stock, I'd argue they "feel" quick, especially for an 80 year old man 😆

@BrandonDrives Sure mate, I went around the houses car wise, then I met V Tech, As I love bikes also, these cars remind me of bikes so much, especially when there cold, I've swapped my k20 engine for a k24, looking to reach the magical 300bhp NA this year. 🫡

@Rooney_the_grey_bird My old mans very much into bikes, always has atleast a couple of them 😅 Think he has a Sazuki Hyabusa at the moment and a zzr1400. Whatever that means, I dont know anything about bikes. He's yet to drive the type r but be interesting to see what he thinks. Im hoping to remap my type r eventually to 260bhp ish n/a. Thats a year or 2 off tho i imagine.

Had my EP3 since 28th October and I cant fault it, had no issues so far.🤞I've done an oil change, and fit a cold air intake so far.

Yeah, I get what you're saying, I do drive with the intention of ditching it should I need to. Can never really justify "speeding." It's pitch black, which means you can very easily see other headlights if you use dipped lights on corners. Also, don't drive roads that you don't know like the back of your hand. Cooper S' are lovely cars, I'd buy 1 one day given the opportunity, highly modifiable.

That's an interesting monologue 😅 The light was turning green so perfectly safe to accelerate, also this was my mate in front so there was no pressure from me to actually make him accelerate as he knew it was me honking so no danger there. 🤦‍♂ The whole joke of beeping was that the light was only just turning green 😅 You just wasted all that time typing this comment just for it to be a complete waste. 🤷‍♂

Yellow (amber) means proceed with caution depending if the light is turning red or green. But yeah, handy I suppose.

As far as I'm aware, this car was completely stock. Im 99% sure it revved high because I pressed the accelerator.

Also, this car is a JCW.

@@BrandonDrivesit’s got the JCW style pack but it’s a cooper s, JCW have different exhaust tips and the JCW badging and alloys also the plastic trim would have a lip sticking out to accommodate the alloys sticking out for the breaks. I know JCWs do the exhaust blip from stock was just confused as this is a cooper s thanks tho :)

@@BrandonDrives JCW has 231HP also i watched a couple of your vids of the car, the JCW has red accents on the dials inside the car usually has the red alcantara bucket seats rather than the cloth black, on the outside you’ll notice a red line on the front accent grille huge red brembo brakes under the callipers due to this the plastic trim has to have a lip on it the JCW also has completely different exhuasr pipe trim and has a JCW badge rather than a Cooper S badge I have a cooper s and it’s identical to yours I’m going to get a JCW soon and know lots of people who have them. The cooper sport which is this model just had the JCW styling pack on it so the spoiler the sport front and rear bumper too. You can also reg check the car too
