"Goodnight and good riddance" Johns words at the end of every transmission. Not mine, dear reader, I'm way too polite for that. TFF touring the States in February. Happy days. Thanks Scott 🙂

"Wounded in sleep again, The sequences move by me, A million miles across the room, A tearing sound of smiling" It wasn't just the music that has stayed with us, it's the words 🧡

I don't listen to "Underpass" all of the time, but when I do, the neighbours do too. Thanks Scott 🧡

"Plaza" is the engine that fires up first time to really power "Metamatic". Quite simply, one of the greatest electronic albums ever recorded. 🧡 John Foxx

The first track on a brilliant album ! Pretty haunting.

this album was featured on the Polish radio in the winter of 1980 and during the broadcast the power went out in the middle of this song. I couldn't believe it. I wasn't able to hear the entire song for a few more years...

It was my favorite song in 1980. Very few songs have made a similar impact on me as this wonderful track. At the time it only got some airplay on Radio Luxembourg (it was a Top 30 song in the UK) and I also heard it once or twice on the Polish FM radio

A great track from Alphaville. Like many bands of the early eighties such as The Berlin Blondes, The Danse Society and The Kane Gang to name but a few, who made brilliant debut albums but just couldn't follow them up and maintain any momentum. A real shame, but I guess that there was so much good music about at the time and only so much room in the pond. Thanks for this Scott 🧡

You're welcome! And thanks for naming those bands as two out of three of them are new to me, so you've given me some suggestions of bands to post.

I love National Lampoon’s Vacation! The Christmas one is pretty good, the Vegas one is okay, and the other ones should rot in hell.

The Blitz nightclub was situated on the south side of Covent garden in central London. Twice I queued up to enter, and twice Steve allowed me in. I wore a double breasted grey suit, fedora hat, pan stick make up and black eyeliner. He commented on my Gary Numan look. I thought that he was a nice person. I think that Visage were the most romantic of the new romantics. Thanks Scott 🧡

Mmmm yes, coming up for "Air". Thanks for this Scott. By coincidence I was playing their album "10000hzlegend" on the way home tonight. The opening track tells us all we need to know about this French duo. It's called "Electronic performers". Au revoir 🧡

@synthmusicworld. It's entirely up to you Scott, you are the man after all. I would strongly recommend American electronic rock band MGMT and their track "Time to pretend". They have a massive following and I'm sure that you wouldn't be disappointed. Thanks ever so much for your channel. Its appreciated over here on the Norfolk coast in the UK 🧡

Just recovering from a yucky bout of influenza which laid me up for five days. I'm now able to post my usual wishy washy clap trap comments again. The track "Visage" was brilliant on 12" format. One of the greatest bands to create rhythmical electronic dance music that kept me happily on the floor back in the eighties nightclubs. Thanks Scott 🧡

EXCELLENT sound on this one!. Do you have and can you post the 7" version of "VISAGE". The 12" is EVERYWHERE but i NEED the 7" version!!!!.Cheers.

"The Garden" is one of the greatest albums ever recorded. I must've listened to it a thousand times throughout the years. Pure brilliance, pure beauty, pure Foxx. "Miles Away" is a fine track that was released in single format only (b/w "A long time") between "Metamatic" and "The Garden" albums. Thanks Scott 🧡
