I personally find the Logic stock compressor to do a better job at this, the release is 5ms instead of 10ms from the FabFilter C@. Dont know if this is the only factor that makes it better or not.

Classic kicks are better imo 9/10 you can tell who made the track, Modern kicks sound almost the same and don't get me started on the lazer kick fad, its just a bunch of noise lol But i do understand artists wanting to try new things, So i don't really mind it at all for that aspect

2:04 That’s something I can’t stand about the IK T-Racks bundle. Some of the plugins slightly change the sound not by much but it’s there. Also, the output gain is never at zero. It’s always bumped by like 2db. So frustrating.

what type of kick is 2010? i want to know the specific name, because most of the kicks i hear today are these nasty really ugly rawkick and sharp punchy kicks that really ruined hardstyle. The kicks i'd hear in euphoric hardstyle from 2014-2019 were perfect, then they too switched to nasty raw kick, such an unpleasant sound to listen to, especially live.

Another great free saturation plugin is bpb saturator (bedroom producer blog) and another great one is klanghelm sdrr2 which is the pro payd version (but for just 23$) of the free little bro ivgi. Don't sleep on these hidden gems trust me u will thank me
