i normally use a second layer of low tac tape on the cutting side, this worked always very well. but i will try this version to see the difference. i guess the tissue paper works even better, because the low tac tape was sometimes not so easy to remove without leaving a bit of sticky residue. thanks for sharing this tip❤

I have seen crafters use wax paper to help the diecuts release easily but not tissues. I used low tack tape to hold some dies together for repeat cutting the same stamped shapes. I set my stamps up on a stamping platform Making sure there was enough space between images for die borders. I repeatedly stamped out the images. Then I lined up all the dies over the images and taped them together as shown here. Then I could line them all up at once and run the sheet through my die cutting machine. This was for a mass production project. The down side is the tape stuck in the margins between the dies. The upside is the tape held all pieces in place while die cutting. These were all cut out of white paper to be colored in as a craft project for a local nursing home. Then glued onto a pop up card. Thanks for this tip.

I loved this idea and can't wait to try it. I've missed one thing in your description. Can you explain the purpose of the cut out circle on the background panel? It seems like the double-sided adhesive can work as well on a full panel. Thank you for this unique idea!
@KathyaKalinine15 күн бұрын
@@savannaghkacey6161 Hi! Yes…I was thinking that because I’m working with a sort of plastic (the clear acetate), adhering paper to paper would increase the chances of the card staying together. You certainly can try without this step though. Merry Christmas! 🎄🎁 🥰
