...waiting for the pedant who says it is an augmented 4th....
@paulemillevasseur76225 жыл бұрын
@@Nic.Arreola Sorry but, A diminished 5th is a tritone. It depends on the spelling. For example, C to F# is an augmented 4th and a C to Gb is a diminished 5th but both sound as a tritone. It entirely depends on how you want to spell your intervals. In music theory, these are known as 'enharmonically equivalent' invervals. i.e. they can be spelled multiple ways but they sound the same. It is the same way that an augmented 2nd and a minor 3rd sound the same but they are spelled differently. Example, in a harmonic minor scale, you have an augmented second between degrees 6 and 7. So in a minor, we have an F to a G#. We can spell the G# as an Ab but then we'd have a scale with an A and an Ab, which is not spelled correctly. With any diatonic scale, we want one pitch of each letter name and we use accidentals to adjust the location of the minor seconds.

But he never says misery....he says miseraay instead !
A lot of people have pointed out that ol' Sponce may have overused a certain m-word on the latest Periphery album? Sounds like a lot of people need to stfu and enjoy the music. You don't fuck with the best band ever. Or their lyrics cuz you damn well you could never come close. Full disclosure I made it to 4:25 or some shit, and I was done...
