What's the difference between the hp1 and hp2 rebuild kits.?
@portcityengines4048
@portcityengines4048 5 ай бұрын
in the rebuild kits it is forged pistons vs cast pistons. in the complete motors it is cam selection, head porting, compression etc

That’s awesome, is that with relatively standard heads? I’m looking at building a 253 but there’s hardly any info on them, cheers

Really happy with the machine work you guys did on my 355, with a crane 300, edelbrock ported heads and 13.9:1 comp on e85 she's making 462hp at the tyres. Thanks again for a for a quality job! 👍

Nice little combo. As a suggestion, maybe put a page up with the engine specs at the start or end of video.

What cam? You have a very short torque curve but for a 383 these numbers are weak?
@MasterWitchDoctor
@MasterWitchDoctor 4 жыл бұрын
I wouldnt call them weak. A GM ZZ383 with a 222/230 hydraulic roller and 210cc fast burn aluminum heads are only 435 hp with a single plane intake and 770 CFM Holley with a water pump, alternator, and power steering pump connected during the dyno test. If his engine is that close with cast iron heads and minus the power steering pump and alternator then his engine is actually pretty good.
