Yes, but also I already have. The Reheated Review series is just reuploads of earlier videos. So two of the Netflix series are already up on the channel buried in some earlier videos I don't remember. The Maxim Tournament reupload should be on the 20th, Netflix Baki on the 23rd, and The Great Raitai Tournament on the 27th. As for Son of Ogre, I plan to watch it at some point next year.

Personally, I didn't mind the actual system much, since they were split into different categories (e.g. magic, strength), so it would be possible for someone to beat someone else with a higher overall power level because they have different skill sets and distributions of points, e.g. someone with more magic points defeating someone with more physical strength using magic. Though that does make their habit of announcing the overall power level a bit stupid, I agree
@shoutingthroughthechorus9381
@shoutingthroughthechorus9381 Ай бұрын
Power levels in general don't really detract from stories, it's just that they don't really add anything to them. The numbers are arbitrary and don't mean anything to the audience or the creator, aside from telling you that one character is better than than another. But that's a bad example of tell not show. Narratively it's better to let the audience guess or figure out themselves which character is superior. If in Seven Deadly Sins power levels are divided by skill sets, and characters' skills matter more than their overall power, it makes the power levels even more worthless to the audience, because then they don't even do the one thing they're designed for.

Horribly underrated gem. The humor is gold, the wholesomeness is heartwarming and there's a lot of surprisingly heavy stuff either implied or stated outright, but still without losing the entertaining tone. A comedy that does non-comedic stuff this well and yet never forgets that it's a comedy - now that's a rare and valuable find.
@shoutingthroughthechorus9381
@shoutingthroughthechorus9381 Ай бұрын
It's a solid watch to be sure. I think the only reason I wouldn't call it underrated is that it actually performed pretty well when it aired, both numbers-wise and reception-wise Part of the reason I chose to watch it was the reception it got.

@@shoutingthroughthechorus9381 I would argue decently popular shows can still be considered underrated by people who really love'em and think they should be super popular, but I suppose so. Now watch Summertime Rendering after looking up NOTHING about it. It's one of those "go in blind, thank me later" shows.

If you were wondering why this wasn't uploaded at the normal time yesterday, don't worry, so was I. Turns out it published itself early several weeks ago, on a Sunday or something? But at the same time as another upload. I'm not even sure it hit subscription feeds, honestly. Tried to republish it appropriately, but KZbin didn't let me. So my 2 year upload streak was broken by a mispublishing. Anyway, the schedule should be normal now, hopefully.

For those that can't tell, WIWTW, WIWR, Popcorn, and Reheated (Which is just made of WIWTW and WIWR reuploads) are recorded unscripted in a single take. This does in fact use the same stretch of silence from the original upload. I think a lot of the WIWTW reviews have aged poorly, but it might surprise you to know I don't think this is one of them. I distinctly remember recording this, and right after I said the series name, I just sat there for a few seconds, mouth agape, with absolutely nothing to say about the show. The reason I think this review aged pretty well is because I'm not sure there was anything I could have actually said aloud, that would have conveyed the sheer apathy I felt towards Attack on Titan Season 3 part 1.

Oh no, this sounds like a bad manga, thank you for your review! Keep up the great work Could you do a review on Peach Girl, which is a shojo manga and anime with the tropes of misunderstandings, age gaps, drama,, , and fake friends. The tropes that Peach Girl doesn't have are the student council, the festival arc, the beach episode, someone running with toast and more, although I wish these tropes were included because the drama and toxicity in Peach Girl and it's manga fanachaise was not it. The story is by Miwa Ueda and it only has one season, 25 episodes in dub and sub.

I'd argue he's an anti-villian, which is to say a villain with altruistic goals. His goal may have been arguably beneficial but you really shouldn't go around creating criminal empires, killing people, and inciting riots and public panic. Even Moriarty would describe himself as the villain, that's why he sets up Holmes as his heroic foil.

This brings to mind the Lord of the Rings books. It gets really wild if you read the other works of JRR Tolkien. Same here. You pretty much have a Simarillion of plot going on in both UQ Holder and Mahou Sensei Negima. Add to that the anime adaptations and you have quite a mix of sources for lore and plot details.
