'I can’t use Google, ChatGPT, or anything like that'-proceeds to immediately use ChatGPT for ideation 😹 Classic move! Truly an awesome video and an amazing game. Everything you said about being a gamedev KZbinr is undoubtedly true. I was in the same boat, swamped with busy schedules and work, but recently made a comeback because I kept getting messages and comments from viewers on videos I posted years ago. It’s tough and time-consuming, but it’s so rewarding. Knowing that we’ve helped or brought a little joy to someone through these videos makes all the effort worth it. That feeling? Priceless 🌟.

I really believe that the topic of game devs "mental states" is something that isn't really very well touched upon and I really appriciate that you were actually talking about it. Also, in my opinion, putting on stress and stuff for ART just feels wront, making games is art, making the music- that's art, writing, drawing, making the videos - editing, it's all art and anything that's creative shouldn't be pushed on since it can actually first ruin your creativity/making something you don't want to make, art shouldn't be because you want to get millions of views (nowdays that is a real goal and I totaly get it, since you get paid for it and can actually go fulltime which is a really nice thing that the internet has provided us) but creativity can't be forced, creativity shall be made for the sake of the joy of making and perhaps seeing other people enjoy it too and then you look back, smile and say to yourself, I actually made that... Btw, glad to have you back. O' Captain My Captain

Yeah you're definitely right! It's always the most fun when you're doing it purely because you want to make something

As a note if you don't care about price RPG Maker is very easy to learn in less than a few hours and you can learn the basic of unreal in about an hour but for a game purely made in a programming language instead of using visual I guess it's fair enough to use Unity if you don't feel like learning how to use Godot or making your own game engine using C / C + +

You put too much effort into making these videos. Stop spoiling us with the special effects and careful scripts and music and whatnot, and just give us clips of development! Of course, do what you want, but don't feel a pressure to keep every mindless KZbin viewer interested. The views aren't what matter, the thoughtful engagement is.

Hey DevBanana bit of a odd question and I know you might not respond but where did you get the paper background thing with the changing color?
@DevBanana16 сағат бұрын
I'm pretty sure I got that from a website called Pexels and it was just white, and then in my editor I put the colour over it and keyframed it to change colour
