@MrAquariummasterКүн бұрын
@ honestly saltwater should be easier than freshwater as long as you have a created a system that self supports. The amount of biological filtration that happens on its own out numbers that of freshwater. Your biggest filters in a reef tank is your rock and sand

@@MrAquariummaster so how do handle build up of algae and bryopsis? On a nano I can do water changes to get rid of nasty buildup. I use lots of rock and pads but no skimmer. Just seems like I hardly feed and still see the tank get nasty. Just was curious how I get to once a month water changes even.
@MrAquariummaster22 сағат бұрын
@ snails, hermits and fish. All those tangs keep it algea free. I used to have a nano tank too (see my old videos) and usually it’s about finding a balance. Water flow helps a lot and a blenny it’s a good idea on smaller tanks

Thank you!!! This tank was a mixture of two of my aquariums. A nuvo 20 and a 210 got combined to form this. For the most part the tangs are happy and adjusted well. Key is to start them young and feed plenty. I run red sea 90 LEDs
