I have a 3 year old Tissot Chemins des Tourelles that uses the C07.111 and is not COSC certified. I looses about 30 seconds in one month so roughly and average of 1 second per day. Pretty dam accurate for a movement with plastic pallet and escapement. A lot of watch "enthusiasts" look down on these engineered synthetic polymer parts but it just may be the way of the future. They are lighter weight and help achieve the 80 hour power reserve along with the longer thinner main spring. Quite the feat of engineering and innovation in my humble opinion.

This was an awesome video. Very informative. I guess my specific question would be how does a Sellita SW200 compare to an ETA 7750 movement. I perceive the 7750 as a more expensive higher quality movement. Am I wrong? And does a 7750 movement make a watch more valuable then if it had an SW200?

The Certina DS PH200M (original aluminum bezel insert version) uses the Powermatic 80.111. I have one of these and when new it was running at +1.4spd and over 5 years later it’s still running at +1.4spd. With over 3 days power reserve that makes for one good watch for use outdoors. It’s a great watch, not my best or most costly watch, but great nonetheless. One doesn’t buy such watches for their Haute Horology (of which there is none 😂) but for their practical use and durability in outdoors life. Either way, it’s a great movement that has served me very well.

Eu não entendi o tambor de corda,,,Se a trava está acionada porque parou da dar corda E o tambor está no mesmo eixo. Como ele transmite a carga sem desmrolar ? Porque ESTÁ travado com a trava inicial do eixo no Tambor, de dar corda..Ou o eixo é solto? POIS SE O TAMBOR FOI TRAVADO QUANDO PAROU DE DAR CORDA,,,E SE DESTRAVAR,, ESVASIA....COMO CONTROLA???

The shape of the balance wheel is very clear from your upside down photos, but when the very small wheel is in-situ inside the watch, and partially hidden by its bridge, and it is oscillating fast, I cannot make out the shape - I guess I will need to let the spring run out, and try again then.

Advising us at 4:00 minutes how to tell if we have a Premium or COSC movement is by the marking CHRONOMETER or the fact you have bought a top grade watch, is rather simplistic. Also if the fake makers put a Glucydur wheel in the correct watch version, then we may still not know that it is fake

5:14 Eu tenho um orient automático que não possui essa tecnologia de corda pela coroa. Recentemente, adquiri um relógio automático que possui corda tanto pelo modo automático, quanto pela coroa, aí, procurei informações da marca sobre até quando girar a coroa para dar corda, encontrei conteúdo que diz que se der corda pela coroa, vai estragar o relógio, ou pode estourar a mola interna. No caso deste meu novo relógio, eu girei a coroa várias vezes até que aconteceu que ouvi um barulho, à certo ponto, a mola começa a deslizar lá dentro, sinalizando que já foi enrolada ao máximo, como o sr. falou.
