Hi, do you have advice for me? I am trying to change the dash on my A4 B7 (RB8 Immo4) from the mono FIS to color FIS. I can not read the immo data from old dash for some reason, always gives me an error. Eeprom dump comes out with useless garbage. If I install the new dash I can read the immo data and eeprom from it, even change km, without any problems, only have the problem with the old dash which I urgently need to read the immo data from to transfer to new dash. What might be the issue? I am using Carprog 13.77

all depends... how badly corrupted is immo data in the ecu. some ECUs are repairable but via OBD and some ECUs via bench, mostly need to be read out on the bench and repair files manually to some point and then via OBD

@@ShemekBest I have an n54 msd81 and everything plugged in I crank but no start I try to check codes with an obd2 cable and inpa and the other one and mhd it says no communication with dme haha it’s so weird 😂🤣

there is so many things on those ecus that could go wrong tbh,hardware issue,PT CAN issue, bricked ecu, data & immo issue.... to many possibilities to write here... what have you done to this ecu and why its been out?@@ThaHammieJaassee

@@ShemekBest i removed the engine cause i cracked the head so i replaced it and the head gasket. the car sat for about 2 months with out power to the battery and when we fixed it and put the engine back in and try to start it it just turned over but no crank. i thought maybe the tune was bad and i checked codes with mhd and it said no communication with dme. that was back in February of this year lol so i just gave up on the car cause bmw wanted 3000 for a new Dme programmed to my cas 😶so i said fuck that and just bought everything for a 5.3 ls swap xD kinda dumb cause i ended up spending about 5k for the swap instead of 3k for a new dme

Ho cambiato il motorino e mi ha funzionato, ma ultimamente mi capita che non sente quando esco la chiave dal quadro. L’errore non inserisce il bloccasterzo e non mi permette il riavvio del Morore quando reinserisco la chiave. Insistendo parecchie volte uscendo ed inserendo la chiave tutto rifunziona. Ma da cosa dipende? Forse si deve fare la riprogrammazione della chiave?

Hi i am trying to read immo data from a 2012 vw t5 cluster. it will read the part number and type but then i get security access error try 2012up or color selection, when i try that i will get the same error. I have modified the eeprom with the FFs and i get the same fault. i also tried Grounding the SDA pin but i get the same error. if i have everything stock i will get Immo Active. What is wrong? i have 8.21 online version of a rebuild clone. Can you help me?
