for me, now; I remember that day? I watched my dad die right in front of me. Hurt does not work here. The amount of pain/grief/loneliness? I assume this will be here for my long haul. These lyrics, they're probably not about me witnessing my father/best friend die... but yes. I remember that day. Everything changed. Something major indeed died inside of me. Something else started to grow. Be strong.
