I don't care what some people say about Korra, but she is definitely one of the best Avatars, sure Aang had some amazing achievements, but Korra literally brought back the spirit realm, something that Aang could never do, and sure she may have gotten beaten loads of times, but so did Aang. Aang got the best teachers to show him how to bend, whilst Korra was forcibly hidden and taught, not getting an ounce of freedom until she ran away to learn Air bending. Also, the girl loterally had her spine broken and still defeated her big bad, Aang never suffered those fatal type of injuries.

You guys missing something. Aang defeated all of his enemies on his own, because the last airbender was focused on self-improvement. But Korra always needed allies, because the legend of korra was focused on maintaining partnership and acquiring allies. The fact that Korra always gets her butt kicked is not because she is weaker than Aang. All of her enemies had deep ideologies and they were stronger than Aang's opponent. They were also trying to make the world a better place and maintain balance, but they overrated their ideology and did crazy things as Toph said in the beginning of season 4. It is also stated in the series fine.
