The only time you can use him in story mode is the Confessions of the Creator part, in which case you just have someone else lead and traverse the map for him, then swap back when its time to fight. And in actual battles... well, that's why he has Reverse Polarity.

@@idunnodo1142 I should have indeed ! Though, I think it's not THAT useful if you don't already have a quite high AGI stat ? (he was equipped with x2 Fool's Emblem instead of the Shining Emblem). I think I was too focused on earthguarding/keeping track of the turn order and didn't feel like it was needed. In any case, clearly a mistake. Being able to dodge even a single one attack can make a huge difference, depending of what Cassius does ! Also, if the IA wants to kill you, you're pretty much screwed. And not only at the beginning, if Cassius Armor rend ten times in a row Zin... x) - The ability to x2 guard (Julia/Kevin) is really strong !

@@Eifi_7 that does make sense now that i think about it, especially with the tick counting; off topic question though, i've recently been doing a rerun of Kiseki on nm and i have to ask, which one do you think is the toughest boss in the series? of course, no handicap business. me and a couple of my friends were talking about it

@@Eifi_7 it depends on the party, you can one turn him with schera and agate using chain crafting and breaks. however I went up against him with agate and tita. an annoying fight. Hes almost soloable with estelle minus the guardians, but even without the lions his clones are just too fast. I could probably do it if Estelle was just a little faster. as it is, moving out of their reach isn't realistic.

@@Eifi_7 If we're talking about shield tier list, exdeath shield is the strongest iirc, 2nd one should be Jecht's block In dissidia 1 Exdeath bot is one of those troll guy that did nothing then hit 9999 bravery attack followed with Hp attack immediately Jecht tho, lmao, will wipe you little by little then gives that 9999 straight with combo

​@@Eifi_7 Exdeath is really hard to master, aganist a real player who plays someone like Zidane, its impossible to react to anything, and if you react wrong, enemy gets a free punish, + main problem, its always enemy turn, if one doesnt want to attack you, you have almost nothing to do with it.

He's op if the person perfectly execute the omni block, which you can't do anything even by cloud's ex mode attack. You can only watch your character helplessly being attack by him.

Well, I no longer remember everything as it's been ages. But I had equipped Randy with the Item which boosts physical attacks a lot (+100). I think the accessory was "Passionate Rouge", x2

@@Eifi_7 Makes sense, since that was a thing back in Zero as well. Pretty much the equivalent of Tiger Heart acessory from Sky (Sora), but better. Guess I will try to put those on Lloyd instead, and see if I can't hurt her for at least 1000 or close enough damage with his S-craft in the future, want to finish her off with a bang.

if youre still curious, i took lloyds master quartz that he gets at the beginning of the game and put it on randy, he was doing decent damage but after the helmet comes off, he was doing just under 1k damage. not good, but every chips helped with this boss. i did the strategy of cornering her with lloyd, but i also gave him adamantine guard to give him something to do while hes acting as the meatshield. i kept buffing randys str up whenever i got the chance, as well as raising tio and elies ats and spamming her with arts. when i got very desperate, i would spam burst orbs so that i would get my burst, and in that time i would do anything i needed to quickly, like moving tio and elie away from her if she got close to them, as well as letting out the huge damage arts while elie and tio where buffed. i just finished the fight now and i honestly cannot believe i even managed it, i was stressing the entire time after i finished it waiting to get in control so that i could save as quickly as possible lol

considering exdeath pretty requires knowing all 30 matchups (esp. when omni-guard is so tight in timing while the other blocks while more lenient do not have the highest priority), tier 1 is well deserved in a game where that's shared with a keep away bitch who spams projectiles like no one's business yet has two perfect close ranged tools anyway (ultimecia), and a supercracked melee fighter (prishe)

Exdeath does not ever need to walk. He either sits there and waits to be attacked or uses Reverse Polarity to teleport instantly to where he wants to go.

you can feel exdeath working/walking slowly in a giant armour set, while the omi block is sharp on the timing and lethal.
