Hold on just remembered the "generic" part of the title

Yea man as a Lee main, this isn’t as helpful as you think. Lee is usually at a frame disadvantage even on hit. He’s designed to make his opponents react. A lot of the strings shown in this example, are moves Lee would usually use as a punish. But again maybe lees in lower ranks might use these flow charts. So idk maybe this is useful to a degree.

isn't cardinal 124 safe though... Also Lee's most forgiving just frame. And I fail to see any 'flowchart'. These are just some solid responses to moves.

Can you have the characters do the move three times before punishing so it can get stuck in my head?
@spiralflame883 күн бұрын
His power crushes are also punishable. You can even punish one of them with a guaranteed unbreakable throw. Edit - First time this channel was recommended to me and I love how simple the videos are.

the throws system in this game probably the worst of all fighting games,like just keep it simple why are you forcing to check how to break it and wasting a lot of time training to how break it?this game feels like made only for pro players

@ why defend this wrong system when it’s wrong? are you bamco employe or something? what ever, Most players complain and having problems with this throws system so imagine the new comers to the game what will be their reaction,like it’s just throws make it sample and I’m actually good at game considering i don’t play the game a lot
@Mkewizkid6 сағат бұрын
@ players who complain are mostly newbies that don’t understand the fundamentals of tekken. Tekken has always been a game focused on matchup based learning and countering an opponent by actively seeing the animation being played out. Laws f2+3 grab has a very obvious animation hence it has one break button. There is always a specific animation to tell you what button you need to press to break the throws, there’s never an excuse other than you just have inferior reflex’s, which is ok, the game is not intended for everyone, which I believe is a good thing. Tekken shouldn’t have to cater to a beginner friendly audience and dilute the fundamentals of the game just cause some ppl can’t keep up. It’s a fast paced fighting game for a reason. That being said, there are definitely some grabs which do have some unfair animations to them, specifically king. Most of his grabs look the same but to compensate for that he has a terrible sidestep and virtually no backstop and not much combo utility and virtually no 50/50 outside of grabs.In general a grab is 10 frames long, with another 14frame break window (I believe). That should give a fair amount of time to see the grab animation pull out. Then it boils down to labbing the characters enough to recognise the animation. Is it a bit fast, of course but that’s just tekken. Practice a lot and breaking throws will come naturally. But not everything needs to be excessively easy to do. And tekken is all about mind games and adapting to your opponents behaviour so naturally it’s not for everyone. Just cause it’s a hard system dosent mean it’s a wrong system

For the first time they use this setup, they usually use the fully charged one. What I do is hold back to roll and use 10 frame moves, it interrupts the second hit. I believe even power crushes work. I don't have the strongest step. Second time they use this setup, they usually use the uncharged one. So I punish after that. Usually they don't repeat it, once they know that their opponent knows the mixup. But of course this will not always be the case and will depend on the player, and sometimes you might guess wrong. I see this pattern in blue ranks though, so different behavior for different ranks.

The FGC culture of hiding tech from other people is what's actually making everyone worse at the game. A lot of us could get to the level of top players, but we're too concerned with hiding cheese we found when sitting in the lab
@jazzarazzatfc50473 күн бұрын
I suppose, I think a fair amount of players don't lab at all until Fujin at least, you can get away with obvious block and whiff punishment and good movement/ spacing. Maybe I'm coping because I get so lonely whenever I hop in practice mode and get no tangible reward for my practice.
@ata2605Күн бұрын
You can't really hide anything since if they do it to you now you know the tech. Plus these set ups in the video are kinda scrubby tbh.
