Is there a water adjustment for ice maker? Mine seems to be over filling and not popping all the ice causing it to fault out.

some of the older units had the pulley inside the recoil housing molded to the pulley...ie: you don't take it off. the replacement kits online I see have the grooved end that catches the flywheel with the tension spring inside held on with a screw. Are these newer style pulleys compatible with the older style housing?

Nice, but since it's unlikely that a brand new engine will have a coil failure. Inspecting the flywheel surface underneath the coil is a good additional step. And cleaned if needed, but should be inspected at least.

He wouldn't have aired the video if it didn't work. Go ahead and do what's instructed and should should be fine. 🙂

I did this 3 years ago and it worked. Now, after putting new part in, nothing, no light, no numbers..nothing. Any advice? Did I get a bad part or is it user error? Thanks.

Disassembled, (rusty burner bolts and all) and reassembled, checking with the video every step of way, and it literally took me longer to find the sear burner from a vendor selling it online than it did to do the whole process of removing the doors, control panel, wind guard, old burners, heat deflectors and flavorizer bars, cleaning up the interior of the grill and reinstalling the new parts (burners, deflectors and flavorizers). The new parts did indeed include replacement screws to secure the burners, so the mfr must have heard past consumer complaints about not providing those replacement screws with the new burners. This video provided great clarity among the video footage and the instructions. There are a lot of videos on YT about replacing the burners but even if you own a 2016 Genesis E300 series, this video still applies. (Note: The green connection is a black wire on my grill, not white as depicted but still in the #2 position connecting the sear burner. All other reference points were identical to my grill.) Thanks so much for giving me the resources to tackle this on my own.

wonder why you couldn’t just change it by removing the vent tube

Removing the knob assembly on my Maytag was completely different. If there's no locking tab on the backside of the timer to pull out, try removing the silver knob by putting a dull blade under the knob's edge and working it forward and out, away from the shaft. The knob has a prong on the backside that fits into the main shaft of the timer and is retained this way. This worked for me.

Super helpful in replacing the pump in this exact model. I bought it in 1993 and this is the first pump and belt set I've needed. I went with the OEM replacements, figuring that the first set got me 30 years, and if the next gets me another 30, I bet it won't be me caring about it at that point. Initially I was a bit light on the tightening of the clamps on the new pump to make sure they weren't over-tight, and they leaked. A bit more hand tightening, and things are nice and dry now.

How do you take the key out of the crank shaft?

If paint comes off in area from glue do I need to repaint?

Great video. Was able get our dryer going with a new thermal fuse. The trickiest part was getting the belt back on because of the tight space reaching in. In the video it looks like somehow the closeup was filmed from inside the back so the image was reversed.

This video has instructions out of order. Part of re-assembly comes before before the seal is replaced. I reran the video there a few times to see what I thought I missed, spacing off or something. Lol. So reassembly has that big hole in it. Does the grease mentioned come with the kit?

Notice that don't show putting the washer on the pedestal cuz it weighs over 200 lb and if you don't have someone that can lift even with you are you just happened to touch anywhere but the plastic Corners that pedal stool folds like a piece of shit soda can even with the light dryer pretty pathetic how much would it have been just to strengthen the inside of those pedestals in the middle to avoid destroying them and this isn't a dig at this guy's video or him himself it's a dig at Samsung appliances just to be clear
